I joined this gym due to my job moves me around from time to time and in the agreement it says if you move to an area that a ANYTIME FITNESS is not in you can cancel your contract. The first time I moved this was not an issue was able to get it canceled. Several months ago I moved to an area that there was no anytime so I called this location several times prior to the pandemic and nobody answered on several occasions. As read in other reviews they don't seem to have staff available. Today I got a call from someone I believe to be Evelyn saying that I would still have to pay $300 to cancel. below I have included a snapshot of the agreement that clearly says different. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If you look in reviews it shows the trainers taking peoples money and not honoring the training sessions, and staff never around when needed. Clearly there is a problem with this location

I've been trying to contact them since February of this year about cancelling my membership (by the way I am past my 2 year commitment). I've sent over 10 e-mails most of which un-replied. The one reply I got was saying how we'd have to come into the gym to cancel. I now live in California and have thoroughly explained the situation, to only get ignored. I've called, I've e-mailed. They've also sent promotional emails to which I reply wanting to cancel. I haven't stepped foot inside a Anytime fitness in maybe 6mo to a year..They have no problem charging me every month though. Even though I repeatedly asked to get refunded and my membership CANCELLED. I really want to give you guys a chance to do the right thing and have contacted you multiple times. But what it seems to me is you are taking advantage of us big time. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FILE A FRAUD CLAIM ON MY BANK ACCOUNT to cancel a gym membership.HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Have only been here for a short time but really enjoy it. The gym is clean and bright. The staff seems attentive to the customer interaction. I have gone in the morning and the evening and the level of cleanliness is refreshing. Free weights and resistance machines all seems fairly new. Would recommend to anyone looking for good value in a local gym.
