Sifu Andy welcomes everyone into his school. Having trained with three other instructors over the years (two in Toronto and one in Taiwan), I can say he is top notch in skills, knowledge, and instruction. The environment is very supportive of students, new and old, of all abilities, and I encourage anyone to give it a try, or, better yet, to join!

Sifu Andy is an unbelievable teacher with the highest level skill and understanding of Wing Chun. His school is a welcoming and inviting atmosphere with everything you’d hope to see in a martial arts gym and then some. Expect to learn in a supportive environment with supreme instruction no matter your skill level. It is truly an amazing experience to learn this art from Sifu Andy at this school. If you are looking for a sign to start taking classes, this is it!

The Connecticut Wing Chun School of Kung Fu is the ultimate environment for studying the martial arts, sharing growth with others and incorporating the philosophies of the art into daily living. Students work together with guided instruction and learn to infuse themselves into the learning. The school offers a stress free environment where laughing and smiling are welcome. It is a rare learning facility where the ego is left at the door. The day after every lesson is a wonderful day.

I've trained in various martial arts for over 30 years. I've never had as much fun training as I've had since joining the Connecticut Wing Chun School of Kung Fu about a year ago. Sifu Andy is an amazing instructor who has deep philosophical insight as well as great technical skill.Wing Chun is a practical system of Self Defense. Its techniques are simple and direct. Through consistent practice your body will become stronger as your confidence builds. I would highly recommend training with Sifu Andy at the Connecticut Wing Chun School of Kung Fu.

If you are looking for a wing chun school, this is the gold standard. Sifu Andy comes from an impressive lineage that goes directly back to Yip Man (who taught Bruce Lee) and a welcoming teaching approach which is extremely conducive to learning. Every one of the students are given a custom guidance to their level and I am really happy to have found this school. Stop researching and just drop in a class at Waterbury or New Milford to find out for yourself. A serious Wing Chun school for veterans and beginners alike.

I've been going to this Dojo since 2009 and since then I felt like I found my second home. If you're looking for legit Wing Chun you found the right place. Very open minded instructor and taches from the heart. Whether you're looking for self defense or just for physical health, it's a great place to be. I was searching a while for a style and school for me and even started self teaching myself I was desperate. Then I discovered this school and found out about Wing Chun for the first time ever and I feel like I found a part of myself within this art. Another cool fact is that if you're an Ip Man fan, this version of Wing Chun descends from the Ip Man (Yip Man) lineage.

The most traditional Kung Fu instruction I have seen. Great Instructor! I love the cultural aspect that he adds to the class. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!

A very good school, and instructor. I currently attend this school and without a doubt, has a good depth of knowledge, wants you to learn. I have been attending this school for two years now, and still consider myself a beginner, and this is a good thing since there are so many things in the beginner form to learn, and I really want to learn them all. The instructor is no-sense, open to questions, and is hands on so that you can feel what he is talking about so that you can better understand the concepts because Wing Chun is a close ranged art.
