went for a job interview. did not see an attachment in the email. requested the director contact me to find out why, I believe i deserved that, they said because.. it requested that i am not hireable. in a NY minute they didn't explain, just denied. first they wanted to hire me, but because I stood up for myself, they changed their minds. How fair is that?I wanted that job...

This YMCA is wonderful. Two pools (big and small) with jacuzzi and has programs from yoga to spin and others. The staff is really into helping and instructing and friendly. A well-equipped workout center has so many machines and free weight locations for the serious as well as casual workout interests. They give a free tour if you're interested.

Best gym ever. The facility is super clean, has a wide range of equipment, 2 pools, courts, and most of all, it's a community. The staff is friendly, and helpful, and the members make it worth while. The friend who got me started said, "I came for the gym, I stayed for the community. It's like nowhere else."Another regular recently told me that they drive an extra 20 minutes to go to this ymca, despite living next door to a decent gym. "It's rare, that people are so approachable. It's worth the drive."

This YMCA is great! They promote a lot of adult wellness programs which is amazing but are limited to what is available for children. Unless they are in a program (which often conflict with other town/travel sports) there is very little to do. Child watch is a great offering but the kids aren't physical unless they are playing video games and for older children it's better to just leave them home. I suggest focusing on children's fitness programs that promote a healthy lifestyle for older kids: Kids gym, child care moved to basketball court, etc... or let parents sign waiver since we pay for the membership.

Always hated it when I was little but once I went there the other day (about 6 years later) the whole places changed and everyone seemed much nicer, maybe it's just because I was younger but anyways great place to workout and everyone is extremely helpful!

I love this Y. I've been going there for about 5 years now and I love it. All the staff are super nice and everyone there makes you feel at home. No matter what Y I go to, none of them can top this Y.
