Norm's Gym, located in Mattatuck Plaza, Waterbury, CT, is a top-notch facility catering to serious athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The gym boasts a wide variety of equipment, including free weights, deadlift and squat stations, pull-up bars, and unique items like tires and climbing ropes. Norms is by far the best equipped gym on the planet. I have been to many gyms in and out of this country, and for hardcore bodybuilding it has no equal

My.old gym closed without notice. It sold the remainder of my fully-paid membership to Planet Fitness. Norm's was so much better that I forfeited the remainder of the prepaid membership and paid for a full year at Norm's.

Norm's Gym is a great place for the serious athlete. The gym features a wide variety of equipment for strength and cardio. There are tires to push, pullup bars, kettle bells. One can even climb about 15 feet on rope to the ceiling. There are plenty of free weights, deadlift and squat stations. Perfect.

*Nothing against this gym*Buyer beware!Luis Rodriguez is a trainer who works and works out of this gym. He represents himself as a personal trainer and owner of L.I.F.T LLC. neither is reputable. He is unprofessional and irresponsible. I paid in full for my training sessions; he refused to fulfill the agreement then gave me the run around after he told me he would give me my money back. DO NOT give this man money. He is unprofessional and does not know how to handle his business. I am in the process of taking him to small claims now. Take heed. Work with someone else at this gym. This guy is no good to do business with.

I moved to waterbury from Danbury and was a regular st New York Sports Clubs. It had a healthy environment which I liked better than PF. This gym, norms, has the same environment that I love. It's a gym where you can really work out in and focus entirely on your fitness goals.

By far the beat gym I’ve ever trained at. Every month norm is bringing in new equipment and who wouldn’t appreciate that. Nothing but people who train hard and want to help others out. Always see the same faces when I train & norm makes it a point to hold a decent conversation with you and get to know you. The workers there are always there if you need them and there are some pretty decent trainers around to answer any questions (even just the regular guys that are there are willing to help and answer questions) I’ve been training here for a year and let me just say I won’t switch gyms until I’m forced to. I’ve seen some reviews go on about the locker room and the way it looks but let’s be honest. You don’t really go to the gym for the locker room. Norm keeps up his good name buy focusing on the new equipment & making the facility that much better. He has hired a new cleaning service and the past couple of months the cleanliness of the facility has been great. Floors looks cleaner than ever, never a mess in the locker rooms and all equipment seems to be cleaned regularly. It’s definitely a benifical gym. $5 day passes so you can even try it out on occasion to see if it’s worth it. No gym can compare to all the perks of norms.
