AMAZING!!! If that sums it up accurately...First I will say that I am not an avid Cross fit mogul nor am I a lover of the gym or a workout in general. But I absolutely LOVE 3E Cross Fit. I knew I needed to improve my overall health and well being as my habits were not the healthiest. I was struggling with being consistent on my own but value the importance of my health. I have paid personal trainers for hourly sessions, I was a member local YMCA and another local gym, I had a "workout buddy" and surprise, surprise I still couldn't "get it together". I just wasn't motivated with my hectic work schedule and lifestyle. I heard of Cross Fit and thought it would be "cool" if I could do something like that. Yet, when I looked around at local Cross Fit arenas I knew I would NEVER make it with their expectations, it was quite scary to watch. One lucky day I came across 3E on Google and researched the site. I called in and spoke with Matt who was really friendly, professional and inviting. He asked me questions pertaining to my workout needs and told me to come visit. When I did visit, he recalled our phone conversation and spoke as if we had known each other forever, I was impressed but still unsure. I observed the workout and then met the coach, that was it! I met Coach Ed who's knowledge far surpasses that of ANY trainer I have ever met (and I know quite a few) and his credentials put him in the upper spectrum on those in his field from nutrition to injuries and everything in between. In any given session you can see numerous individuals working doing regimens catered to their needs based on athletic and physical abilities all simultaneously. But don't be fooled, it is still very hard work. I wouldn't believe it if I did not see it myself. The service of the 3E crew, Ed, Terri and Matt exudes enthusiasm, excellence, motivation and dedication. After a few short months I am able to do things I NEVER thought I would be able to do because of the motivation of Coach Ed. I have back, knee and elbow complications and have always dreaded going to workout. I now look forward to going as often as I can and getting my "butt kicked" as coach teaches me ways to make my body strong without further increasing my injuries but instead healing them. Everyone I know hears my stories about the great 3E in Cheshire. I had one friend join and I am working to get others to make the same positive choice. It is such a well rounded atmosphere, its a one stop shop for all of your health and wellness needs. Everyone there is so friendly and inviting and the 3E crew always makes times for any and all questions. I will never stop working out at 3E Cross Fit,(remember I hate the gym). I have now incorporated it into my lifestyle. If I could shout if from the rooftops I would..The 3E Crew is the best that there is, Ed, Terri and Matt are first class. I feel great and am so motivated, excited and driven now that I must say thank you so very much Coach Ed, thank you 3E Cross Fit!!!!

I have been struggling for years to get back into shape, and while I have been intrigued by Crossfit I thought that it couldn’t possibly be for me – those guys seemed way too extreme! That being said, making the decision to give 3E Crossfit a chance was the BEST choice that I could have possibly made for myself.Working with Coach Ed has been a blessing; I can’t say enough wonderful things about him! His list of credentials is impressive, and he has the social skills to put his knowledge to use in the gym in a safe, non-threatening way. He works with you one on one to ensure that you are executing each movement safely, correcting your form and modifying exercises when necessary. The whole 3E team has created an atmosphere that boosts motivation and self-confidence. The sense of community is strong, and I feel that I am constantly supported and encouraged every step of the way by both the staff and the members. This is a truly uplifting and inspiring place to be!

Let's start off with there is a reason why all these reviews are 5 out of 5 stars. 3E Crossfit is by far the best gym that I have gone to. I have always wanted to get in better shape but hated going to the gym. I was skeptical if i would go so i bought a 3 times per week membership. I wish I new how much I like going here, because I would have bought unlimited times a week.Ed, the trainer, and the rest of the 3E staff are very friendly and helpful. Ed coaches each class and will give you one on one time, if needed, to help you develop proper lifting techniques. If he doesn't feel like you have the form correct he will not let you put weight on. At first, i was discouraged by this. However, after going here for a few months I am glad he did this. I try to push myself each day and without proper technique I can see how it would be easy to get hurt, however i have not seen anyone hurt themselves. The 3E family is friendly and also willing to help. If you need someone to spot you speak up and they will be there in a heartbeat. If you have a question about form they will be more then willing to answer your question.A lot of people when they go to normal gym they feel self conscious about what they are lifting or how they are doing their excersizes. I felt like this. At first when I joined Crossfit i felt like this too. Not because people made comments or were staring at me but because i made this a habit when i went to the gym (which is probably why I never went to the normal gym). After a few classes this went away because i noticed no one was staring, people were concentrating on their own lifting, and if you were struggling weather you are benching 200 pounds or just the bar people will cheer you on.Crossfit is for anyone and everyone. Whether your 18 and in perfect shape to 60 and have a gut. Ed will adapt the workout to you. No doubt a 5 out of 5 stars for 3E Crossfit and worth every penny. As long as i can afford it i will go to 3E Crossfit.

3E Crossfit has become my home away from home. This is a place I can come to not only to continue my journey in olympic lifting but a place where I can get away from the day to day stresses of the life and let out some steam. Each member, coach Ed and the staff have all become new members of my family that I have begun to build life long memories with or look to for support and guidance in lifting. Coach Ed spends a ton of time programming our workouts to make each of us better athletes which helps us excel day in and day out. His knowledge from his educational background and from years of experience allows him to help us perfect our form and truly become stronger mentally and physically. Choosing to become part of 3E crossfit is one of the best decisions I have made to better my life as an overall individual. I would recommend any person, no matter your background or strength level to come to 3E and try out a class. The guidance you receive one on one to perfect your technique and positioning is simply amazing!!

After the first time training at 3E Crossfit I felt like I was part of the family. Coach Ed and all the athletes are very welcoming and supportive. You never finish a WOD alone at 3E because everyone is there cheering you on at the end. Coach Ed has some of the best knowledge in the field of exercise physiology that I have ever trained with and it shows through his fundamental programing, which fit all skill levels. If you want great coaching or just to improve your life, the three E’s (Excellence, Empowerment and Enlightenment) is for you!

3E Crossfit is a great place. If you have personal goals no matter how big or how small. If you're willing to work hard to reach those goals, you'll surprise yourself with what you can accomplish with the help of Coach Ed. Coach Ed takes the time to work with you if you are struggling to do something correct or if you need some extra work on something, he is more than willing to help. When every you walk in the door Matt is always there to great you with a hello. At the end of every workout Coach Ed and Matt make sure to go around to everyone with a High Five and a good job.

I have been coming to 3E crossfit for roughly 3 months now. Now mind you, this is the first time I have ever signed up for a gym membership, so needless to say I was nervous, anxious, but mostly intimidated. Not sure if I would fit in. And not sure I would be any good at crossfit.Coach Ed does a fantastic job! He is personal, down to earth and ultimately and most sincerely, just wants to see you become a stronger and healthier you. He tailors all workouts to your specific needs, and will take the time to show you the correct movements, proper body form and individualize any specific exercise to your current body strength. And that's exactly what I needed. The gym (or box as crossfit calls it) is roomy, the facility is kept organized and clean, and most folks that go there have such a wonderful attitude, it was easy for me to become their friend right away. They are competitive, but in such an encouraging way. The camaraderie has been great, I have made some friends and I enjoy going there tremendously.I also admire coach Ed's passion for what he does, the patience he has shown me and mostly for cultivating such a welcoming environment and fantastic facility in Cheshire for me to become a part of. Thank you!

I experienced Crossfit for the first time this year in upstate NY to see what the hype was all about. After graduation, I moved back home to Cheshire and started out at 3E three times a week to see if I wanted to keep it going. After meeting Ed, seeing the facility, and working out for a month, I am now a fully committed member, 6 times a week, and it was by far the best investment I have made this summer. The atmosphere is fun and my personal gains having significantly gone up more than ever during my four year college career. I have fellow members to push me, and a coach who actually really knows what he is talking about. If you're seriously considering starting crossfit for the first time, this is the place you want to be. You will learn more than every exercise you need to know, more importantly how to do them properly to avoid injury! Ed Williams is more than just a crossfit coach. He is a nutritional expert, personal trainer, physical therapist, etc all-in-one! If you want to start or, for experienced crossfitters, want to see your gains go beyond beliefs, join 3E now!

I've been working with Ed (head coach and owner) and the 3E team for a little over a month now. I've seen a huge transformation not only in my body and strength, but in my mind and my overall wellbeing. …
