Wish I could give this place 0 stars. So many issues with this gym.- The manager (Heather) was extremely rude and doesn't care about any of the complaints I brought up. Just cares about taking money from the clients instead the "family environment" she preaches about.- The classes are a joke. I took Dee's class, they should probably hire actual trainers with experience in a ring instead of people who watch YouTube tutorial videos. Her form and technique were cringe worthy.- The gym is always a mess. I walked in the male bathroom and found urine all over the floor, paper towels scattered by the sink and stalls, and funky odor.I don't recommend this gym to anyone.

From the web: "UFC Gyms are excellent starting points for beginners, youth, and women." From me: Southington needs a real MMA club. We never had one. Tons of karate and BJJ clubs and gyms but not one wraps it all together. Ascension Athletics in Bristol tries but fails on the wieghtlift gym part. So here we have UFC Gym what does the brand stand for? Soccer mom's swinging at heavy bags. I'd like to see UFC Gym pair huge up front in the open mats like Ascension with more dense weight lifting area in the back. Reduce counter space up front. Get rid of the silly vending machine. Cardio machine limited to tread mills and just a few. More heavy bags so we can pound out rounds on our own. There is plenty of space there but they are chasing a trend vs satisfying the needs of Southington martial arts community. Coaches should be on the floor giving tips vs paid extra rates. Kickboxing classes I'm told they can't do because of insurance but on YouTube everyone does classes like that. And they are not called UFC Gym. So I ask what does this brand want to be known for, soccer mom's? At least teach the soccer mom's proper kickboxing and BJJ on the floor instead of pushing a sled and doing burpees. Your most critical customers are often your best. Hope you all understand that.
