The cycle room is too freaking hot. Who wants hot air blowing on you when you are sweating and working out. The 68 degrees is hotter than I keep my house. Instructors have reported that they had asked them to turn the temperatures down but their a response is that members like it that hot. Also please add step classes here!

Very clean with a variety of weight lifting machines that are grade A equipment. Plenty of 45lbs weights. Opens on time and Linda and her team were very friendly. Wish the Riverton facility could meet these standards.

Dear Vasa: why do you respond to negative reviews by saying they can’t find someone in the system- duh-we are posting anonymously! You don’t you address the feedback specifically which makes members mad and leave and prospective customers leery. Address why amenities are broken down for months on end. Address rhe issues members are making an effort to express concerns since there isn’t another option to get your attention. Give a timeframe for fixing items or dealing with issues. Much more effective than deflecting ownership. Do yiu have any intention to deal with problems. No, you won't find me in your system, but be advised I am a member. Fix broken items in your gym!!! Most of your positive reviews seem fake and purchased.

This gym is absolutely amazing ! I’ve been going here ever since it first opened. The workers are very helpful and talkative, even though sometimes it is crowded there is enough machines and free weights that you don’t have to wait very long for anything. Very happy with this place.

Oof, I've been an attending member of this gym for 3 years. Lately I've held off posting this, giving VASA a chance to remedy the situation.Every day it is something different that's broken, needs tightening, missing pieces, dirty, or a disheveled mess. There is little to no accountability on the employees to pick up or clean up. Or otherwise to hold members accountable, usually teens who are utter slobs. I inform employees of empty wipe dispensers, faulty equipment and missing pieces, rarely it gets addressed."Amenities:" The hot tub has been "broken" for almost 3 months, now the sauna is undergoing "renovation" I wonder how long that is going to take.. all they did was take out the benches and if they're reconstructing that it should be done in less than a week. The stream room needs a cleaning and a eucalyptus/lavender treatment as it smells like a week old band aid.Bathrooms: One of the urinals doesn't flush, most of the stalls need to be cleaned, the hand dryers or walls under them are filthy. The layers of dust on top of the lockers shows lack of a cleaning routine, garbage on the tops, floor, or shower/ changing room sit for days.I don't know if it's their gold and not spend any money at this location until right before the EOS fitness opens up by Costco but I will tell you it's a terrible way to treat its members to pay to attend every single day and the list of complaints builds.Hey VASA, saying "you'll contact me" will not address the gross negligence that is apparent at this location.

The Good:Massive gym. With many different options such as cycling, studio classes, power lifting area, turf area, pool, dry sauna, wet sauna, group class area, basketball and racquet ball courts. The Bad:Free weights area is using some reeeaaally old free weights. Like stuff they got left over from other gyms type stuff. The equipment is also older. 3 starsLots of broken equipment.Men's bathrooms etc really dirty.Super busy gym. Didn't slow down till 930 or so.So you know they have the money to get some newer free weights/free weight equipment.Cable areas are missing a few accessories or need more. Like there was one W bent bar for example.Machine area is huge with ton of machines. A few are broke however. 4 starsCardio area is massive. 5 starsTurf is huge. 5 starsPower lifting area 5 starsPool and hot tub. 3.5 stars pool is ok. But hottub was broken.Only use the free weights and machines my self. So overall I'd give the gym a 3.5. Since I don't use the other stuff so much

Did a free trial here and was disappointed by the facilities. When other gyms get rid of their old equipment, VASA must buy it because most everything here is really worn, outdated, busted, or in need of repair/replacement. Between the equipment issues and overcrowding, it was hard to get a good workout in. It’s a cheap membership, but its cheap for a reason. My advice to management would be to clear out all that old junk and do a complete refresh, get rid of some treadmills and double the size of your strength training areas - a lot of wasted space is contributing to overcrowding in the high demand free weight areas.

So far it's ok. Good things - they have a basketball court and racquetball courts, there's a lot of equipment covering most things you'd possibly need, and a couple (sort of) open spaces. Bad things - they need to replace all of their basketballs (they're all warped and half are coming apart at the seams), it's almost always way too crowded so it's a bit difficult to get a good workout, there's usually a few pieces of broken equipment, and I've had a couple treadmills stop running suddenly with weird error messages. I haven't tried the pool, but I'm also not sure I'd feel comfortable doing so. The bathroom/locker is definitely not as clean as it could (should) be. This place could be much better if they just kept up on cleaning and maintenance to a higher level. Also, the fenced off area in the absolute middle of the gym is super weird and should be done away with. It's so awkward.

This Vasa location is the most disgusting location I have ever been to. If you are wondering where the next global pandemic is going to start look no farther then the Vasa in South Jordan. I was looking looking at possibly upgrading my membership so I could use the extra amenities, but after looking I honestly don't think that they have been cleaned in years. The Steam room smells like something died and has been rotting. The showers are so gross you would honestly be dirtier coming out then when you went in. The Bathroom has plungers, toilet paper and pee stains everywhere. The lockers have probably never been cleaned plus the YEARS worth of dust on top of them. The hot tub obviously needs to be attended to. Who knows the last time floors were mopped. There seems to be a major management problem and it is totally unacceptable in this day in age to have your facilities look the way they do.

I've been training with Haley for a while now and she is so great to work with! She is constantly helping me to stretch and grow while still having fun. I signed up to learn new things and I have learned so much working with Haley. I have a million questions and she's always got an answer, which is extremely helpful! I would definitely recommend Haley as a trainer, she believes in what she is doing and is such a great cheerleader for her clients!
