I just started training with Russell at South Jordan VASA. He is awesome! After asking me what I want to gain from personal training, he designed a program to follow that helps me meet my goals. Each week he tweaks the program according to what I want/need and challenges me to do better. He takes the time to explain which muscle groups an exercise is working and is always asking questions about where I'm feeling it and helping me to perform the exercises correctly. I have his full attention when he's working with me. You can tell he cares and that he knows his stuff.

Jacob Stokes was my personal trainer at this Vasa location and he did one of the best jobs. He knew exactly what he was talking about and helped to explain how different exercises benefit the different muscle groups. He was very friendly and a great people person. If I had any questions on anything he was always willing to help and explain anything. He pushed me to do the best I could without being overbearing at all. He genuinely wanted me to succeed and was willing to do whatever to help me get there.

The VASA personal training team is professional, positive, supportive, and encouraging. They utilize the time they work with you by starting on time, explaining the different workout moves, and by giving you tips to perform the moves correctly. They design your workout routine with the moves that will help you reach your goals. The training team encourages you to do your best and inspires you to keep going. This experience has pushed me to work out more and enjoy the results of being stronger.

The South Jordan Vasa is great! The staff is friendly and the people are nice. I've been working with my personal trainer Justin Burk for 2.5 years. In that time he has helped me understand the power and importance of good nutrition. He's given me the knowledge and tools that I needed to lose fat, maintain and gain muscle, and build strength. With Justin's knowledge and help, I've lost 90 lb, 28.6% body fat. I wouldn't have gotten this far without him. He's the best!

Worst gym experience ever!I tried vasa fitness for two months and it was the worst mistake ive ever made. They lack cleanliness, customer service, working equipment amongst many more things. There shower stalls are disgusting and never cleaned. There has been mud on the curtains and floor of the shower in the locker room since ive gotten my membership two months ago and its still there!!!The top of the lockers are filled with filth and dust and theres always trash overflowing from the garbage cansI told the front desk people multiple times of broken equipment and broken drinking fountains and there response was "I'm not a manager"I decided to switch to the lifetime fitness gym because of the better cleanliness, service, price and amenities. As I went to go cancel my plan they "forgot" to mention when i first singned up of all the hidden fees like the $45 yearly fee and the $25 cancel fee. My membership plan was $25 on top of that not the $9.99 that they advertise everywhere In less than two months ive paid $157.41!!!!!! Insane!!!!! I asked the lady at the front desk when I was canceling if she could tell me what an extra $38 that was not adding up in my bank was for and she was unable to do so...I asked for a manager she said a manager was not there I then proceeded to ask for a managers info like an email or phone number she said she could not provide me with either of those. She said I would have to come in when a manager is in next week.Ridiculous!!!!!

I went 28 years without ever going to a gym, it goes to show how good the employees and facilities are as I now go 5/7 weekly. All employees have been super friendly, the personal trainer Russell Moser, however is the reason I keep going. He motivates, explains, and ensures you are being the best you. I would highly recommend him.

My friend and I got the studio membership mainly to do the inbody scans to keep us motivated. The ink on the printer has been running low for about 6 weeks +. Although notifying the staff in person, by email and again, it still hasn’t been replaced. It’s a simple canon printer… replace the ink. The scans are barely legible now. Not only that, the equipment doesn’t seem to have been properly cleaned for some time. Our hands were black after using the assisted chin up machine today.

I’ve loved the personal training here. It helps me know that I’m getting the most for my time and money, and am not wasting a minute. I’ve gained a lot of strength and muscle tone while learning a lot about lifting and injuries. Justin has been such a great coach and teacher. I’m so glad I found him a year ago and can’t wait to see the next level gains I’ll make before summer!

I have been a member of Vasa for over 6 years. The facility is clean and the people are helpful and friendly. Last year I began training with Jacob Stokes. He is well trained and knowledgeable. He is prepared each time with a workout just for me. He answers all my questions and concerns. It has hands down been the best experience I have ever had with exercise. He has addressed specific concerns and one problem that I have had for years is gone. I feel better Than I have in 20 years. It’s hard work for sure but it has been so rewarding.

This gym is amazing, the staff are always friendly and the classes are my favorite. The only thing is (not that they have a lot of control over this) when it rains heavily or snows pretty back. The parking lot floods and pools really bad, I've had to track through puddles up to the middle of of shins and being in a low car is always an adventure, I'd say just be careful.
