Good gym but I don't use anything but the gym and none of the other areas. Gym is clean and stuff works. Only complaints is sometimes the paper towels are out everywhere. That and peak hours its really crowded but that's not the gyms fault so try for less common hours

Just like Gold's that proceeded them, they're rip-offs and simply out for the money.I joined last year and decided to trial run their personal training program. I was told after 6 months, I could cancel. When the 6th month mark came around, I called....and called....and called...and called....and went in....and went in....and went in....to give them notice that I was not going to continue with the program. Gavin (who the front desk says is the personal training manager and is the only person who needs to be notified of cancellation) was never available. No matter when I called, or when I went in to see him in person, he was busy and unavailable. I even sent him emails. No response. When I finally got him on the phone, I was told that the final charge had been processed, he was noting my account to stop charges going forward and I was good to go.Low and behold, two weeks later, another $88 charge hit my account. I called and called and called once again. No call back. Two weeks after that ANOTHER $88 charge hit my account, at which point I finally called my bank, cancelled my card and refuted the two charges (as they were after my 6 month trial and I had told Gavin I wanted to cancel at least 30 days before the end of the trial period).Well, it sure seems funny to me that Gavin is suddenly available to talk to my financial institution to tell them he's denying ever have spoken to me and that I never gave notice. I will likely have to return the money that I was disputing. So lesson learned on me, I guess. But it seems shady when you submit in writing (via his email), make phone calls and even walk in to cancel, they ignore it in order to continue collecting their fees.DON'T DO IT! Stay away from any EOS or gym that promises you can cancel at any time or that there's no strings attached. And never give them your card or banking information. What a shady way to run a business and it seems the entire management team could use a good dose of training in customer service.

This gym has everything you would be looking for. Could be cleaner but given the size of the place and the amount of people occupying the space they keep up pretty well. *Visibly more staff cleanliness is improving. This place is always packed so be aware of that. *Not as packed or maybe I've just found the right times to go. *Sauna is never above or even at 160 and from the research I've done it should be closer to 175.* Update as of 5/2023

Good gym, have most of the equipment that you need. Not good for powerlifting, benches are too slippery for lifting heavy and no chalk in the gym. But I enjoyed my time there on this visit. Usually pretty packed in the evenings but I liked the energy. Will be back

For the Money it wasn't a bad choice, but they began charging me nearly double without notifying me. When I called he claimed my card declined the first time, and processed the second time, so they issued an inconvenience fee for having to run it twice. My money had the funds, so it was a problem with their systemI canceled my membership, but he says that I will have to pay an additional month on top of the one that just started...because they require a notice of 30 days to cancel a membership. I will be disputing the charges and issuing a stop payment to prevent them from milking more money out of me.Planet fitness has tanning and more amenities for similair cost, and are willing to resolve these type of conflict rather than loose a client. I recommend finding another gym

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and the facility and equipment are great when working. I’m sure the staff doesn’t get paid enough but I have yet to see anyone cleaning or changing paper towels. Almost every paper towel dispenser is broken or empty. The bathrooms are disgusting as well. This place will go downhill real quick if they don’t hire a manager who cares. Not to talk bad about the staff but if you hate your job/career find a new one. It doesn’t take 8 people to stand at the front and say “hello” when you walk in. “There are no bad teams, only bad leaders”. It could be an amazing gym with a few changes.

Jun update, THIS GYM IS FALLING APART They take no care of their equipment, I counted 4 foam rollers for the entire gym, cero Olympic bar clamps, do you know how dangerous that can be? There are people doing bench press, overhead presses and squats, that's not good. The only gym in Utah I need to bring my own equipment, this is getting as bad as Vasa or planet, all their row cables are torn apart see picture. I reported that several times. There rowing machines don't work either and they haven't done anything. March 22 update. Then again you walk in and there are 5 guys standing at the front desk doing nothing. 6 treadmill machines were not working and no one reported them to maintenance, Trash all around the gym, (see pictures.) I feel these guys can certainly take turns to check everything is clean and working, if they can't handle the amount of people coming to a single location they better open more locations to distribute the clients or hire a competent team that cares and is able to do something.... Such a Nightmare!!! Always busy you cannot fit more people here!!! It is a A no for me!!! It started really well. -some of the guys at the front desk are friendly some are just jerks. The gym smells really bad in general! The paper towels and the cleaning liquid are usually empty, pandemic or not people and employees should be cleaning their spaces. I attribute the bad smell to the fact that some people stink but the ventilation system in here is not working, it is too hot!! One assume with the amount of people coming they have enough money to pay for the electric bill but they don't have AC. Way I too hot. The equipment is kinda new but every week I see less and less stuff, not enough ropes, not a single z cable bar. It is always crowded and the restrooms are super dirty. You see maintenance people whipping here and there but it is not enough! The showers omg a green patina on all around that doesn't happen in one day or even in one week. employees don't seam to care. UPDATE Dec 08 after they said they were going to address how clean this place is I just added 5 more photos in 5 different locations at the gym with cleaner bottles empty! No wonder how people get so sick!! The gym is still as hot and humid as always and the cleaning supplies are like always lacking. On top of that the didn't remove their snow from the parking. So a club in which we cannot even park!!!!!!!!!

Ethan at Redwood in Taylorsville was great at welcoming my son, as my guest, visiting from out of town, preparing for a weekend event. Enjoyed the great racks, Jacob’s ladder & space for mobility.

I do not recommend childcare at this gym, in the morning there is only 1 person taking care of many children. Usually there are always 10 children or more, it is a lot of work for one person. Babies cry a lot and do not receive proper care. very bad experience

Good equipment and all, but way to packed all the time. To many people just sitting around on phones, have a of the people that go are big groups of kids and all they do is talk. Bathroom floors are always wet, pee everywhere, plus people sitting on the benches naked so careful where you put your bags down. Tbh I wouldn’t suggest coming here if you’re easily annoyed.
