Ludwig Martial Arts / BANG Muay Thai

I started training at Ludwig's Martial Arts very recently, and it has been nothing less than a perfect training experience. Sensei Ludwig is a true master of his craft, and he, the coaches and staff are extremely involved, and welcoming to any and every level of student. Whether you are a pro, or someone with no training at all, this place is amazing.

I just signed my son up for the kids Classes and let me tell you! I couldn’t be more excited for him and he is so beyond ready to go and learn! Thank you so much to Julian for being so amazing and kind hearted! And Sam for teaching my boy and making him feel so welcomed! My son can get very nervous but you guys helped him fit right in! This place is so welcoming and fun! And they’re all about family! I’m so excited for my son to start his journey in something he is so excited to learn since we watch UFC so much already. He can’t wait to be like them! I’m so recommending Ludwig Martial Arts to my friends and family!

Professor Ludwig is on the next level with his insight, teaching ability and positive demeanor. He will make you feel at home and also extremely energized to learn. Everyone that trains there or works there is supportive and friendly. The facility is modern, clean and well kept with gear and supplies. You simply won't find a better place to train!

I recently went to Ludwig Martial Arts to watch my boyfriend train and show off his skills and I couldn’t be more impressed.The atmosphere is nothing but positive and welcoming right when you walk in. This gym is dedicated to helping anyone from a beginner to a pro fighter. Watching everyone be so motivated and dedicated in their training has made me really excited to learn more about Martial Arts. Definitely a place to check out if you’re up for the challenge!

Absolutely hands down the best gym ever. If you want noticeable results and to learn from the best of the best, this is where you need to go train. I love the family friendly atmosphere. I think whether you’re looking for a quality program for your child to break into martial arts or you’re an adult at any skill level this is the place to be .

I train at an affiliate gym in North Alabama, and have come here a few times for seminars or just to train. From the first time I walked through the doors every staff member and gym student met me with the best attitude and made me feel very welcome. This is the best of the best. From absolute beginner to the most elite professional fighter, all levels train here. It’s nice to have a bit of southern hospitality when you’re away from home. They make you feel at ease and the ego’s are checked at the door.

I’m having such an amazing time learning here! It was a little intimidating initially as I had no prior experience, but everyone is willing to help you learn and grow no matter what level you are. Sensei Duane is super encouraging and supportive at all the questions I have and all of my classmates are willing to slow down and go at my pace even when they are much more advanced in experience. From the staff to peers and coaches, the environment is super welcoming and warm and truly fosters a place where you not only learn how to be a strong martial artist, but use that discipline and respect outside of the facility too. Sincerely the best investment I’ve made!

I've only been to a couple of classes, but it has already been more fun and engaging than anything I've done for fitness in a long time. My last experience with starting as a newbie in a martial art was offputting as the instructors and students were very cliquey, so the open and welcoming environment here has been a refreshing change. Both instructors and advanced students here are accessible for assistance and clarification because they genuinely want you to make progress. I'm having a blast so far, and I'll definitely keep coming back!

My daughter and son started here in July 2017 and after seeing how great their experience was, I joined. We often forget that we’re training with a World Class Coach, Duane Ludwig because he’s very down to earth, friendly, and interested in all the people in his gym. He brings other coaches in and offers seminars to help everyone improve their skills, no where else have I seen someone truly invested in all his students’ success! I still get star struck and appreciate that he’s actually taken the time to know me and my family by name! OSU!

The most exceptional martial arts school I have ever trained at. The facility is bright and kept absolutely clean. The atmosphere is one of absolute respect between staff, instructors and students. Exceptional adult and children's classes. The classes are fun, technical, well paced, and are appropriate for people of all ages. Where else can you train side by side with current and former professional, legendary fighters? This school is the best "BANG" for your buck! If you want the best training facility, with the best curriculum, taught by the best instructors, you need to look no further.
