Incredible atmosphere for everyone from beginner to professional level! I've spent a lot of time traveling the world and visiting different gyms, and this is by far the best gym I've been to! John and Joe are both incredibly talented martial artists, and very exceptional coaches. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the Wilmington area that wants to learn how to protect themselves, get into better physical and mental shape, and/or further their career in martial arts!

This gym is great. I had to leave for a while and they missed me so much they got another guy that looks just like me. Turns out the other guy is a fighter too, so now everyone thinks I fight in a cage. Now people at work are afraid to tell me to do anything! I get to take the credit of being a fighter with none of the hard work, it’s great! Thanks to Port City MMA and Fitness and Salty Dog Jiu Jitsu! You’ve changed my life!

Have trained at world class gyms across the nation and this gym by far exceeds any and all experiences I’ve had anywhere else. This is a world class gym with high level athletes that still finds a way to retain a close knit, familial atmosphere. If you are a Wilmington resident or someone in town for the weekend, this is the place to be.

We have been part of the Port City MMA and Satly Dog family for a couple of years now. There is no other gym in town like it, you can hold me to that. Me, my husband, and three kids are all involved in the programs at Port City MMA. My husband and I take the Salty Dog jiujitsu class, my daughter is part of the Salty Dog jiujitsu kids program, and my sons are on the Port City Wrestling team. We are extremely happy with our "second home" not only because of the great programs but because of the awesome people that lead and attend the gym. When you raise your kids, you want to make sure they are surrounded by well-rounded and well-grounded figures. We are fortunate enough to have found that here, at Port City MMA.
