Crunch has new equipment that is top of the line. Best price in Abilene, too. There’s dedicated fitness classes, saunas, tanning, and personal trainers galore. Ample parking, computerized access - Crunch is state of the art. Best in town at the best price.

I have really enjoyed using this gym. They have plenty of equipment, it's clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I'm really glad I signed up and am enjoying my daily workouts.

This review isn’t about going to the gym and working out, but instead how awesome and kind this place was during the massive snow blizzard. When water came back to Abilene, people still didn’t have water. This gym stepped up. They allowed people free hot showers, and offered food and drinks to people coming in as well. This was a real life saver and a true act of kindness as I’m sure this place was somewhere many people went when everywhere else was turning people away. Thanks crunch.

Very clean, COVID complaint, and they have the friendliest staff you could ask for. Anyone at the front desk will jump up and help if you ask for something. This is one of the best gyms in Abilene. For the price, it is the number one gym in Abilene. The trainers are a step above and actually care about us and show it everyday in any class you attend.

After my husband and I had a bad experience our first day, the gym manager, Ashley, made sure to reach out to us and give us a better impression. She gave us a tour of the facility and answered all of our questions. She was truly helpful and very friendly.Original Review March 7th: Today my husband and I visited Crunch Fitness for the 1st time. We bought our memberships online and I can honestly say so far we are not impressed. We had used Planet Fitness in the past and I think we may go back to them. At Planet Fitness, we were treated nicely. On our first day, they gave us a tour of the facility and politely answered all our questions. Our first day at Crunch it seemed like the guy couldn’t wait to get rid of us and was annoyed by our questions, like we shouldn’t have questions about a gym that we have never been to before. We feel like had we been skinny maybe we would have been treated nicer but who knows he may just be like that to everybody.

Love working out here. Good equipment and always have sanitizing stations available. One thing is the water fountain has hot water, so its uncomfortable refilling my own brought water. 5 stars if water was cold. Overall still a good place.

Wanted to try out this gym, so I joined when there was a promotional zero to join and first month is only $.27. I decided I didn’t want to keep the membership, but hidden in the small print was evidently a statement saying I couldn’t cancel before sixty days, which is when they hit you with the annual fee and the next month’s fee, so in truth you can’t cancel for three months. My trial ended up being expensive. I see a class action lawsuit in their future, if so, sign me up. Super hidden costs and unethical practices. Don’t fall for their cheap up front cost. They will get you in the end. Seriously though, any lawyers want to start a class action here?In response to the response:That would be fine if that were clearly communicated; however, there is a giant billboard in town boasting of no contracts. When I’m no allowed to cancel for two months so that I can be billed for the annual fee and then charged another month, it starts to feel a lot like a contract. Then when I have to mail in a physical letter to cancel, the whole thing really starts to feel like a pain in my backside. I wanted to try the gym and was forced to pay 4 months and an annual fee before I could end my membership. I don’t even live in that city anymore and I’m still paying for a gym membership there, and I’m not even sure if it’s canceled, because of all the hoops I’ve been made to jump through

I signed up for Crunch Fitness almost a week ago. PROS: Open 24/7, group fitness classes, plenty of machines/weights, tanning, technology, cleanliness and friendliness of staff. CONS: Very busy gym but the app provides a meter of current traffic. Also, booking classes in advance on the app can be difficult sometimes because of timing. Jenna was very helpful with getting me initially set up with my membership. I got my first month free on iBuy Abilene. I’ve done a few classes so far and really enjoy Eden’s classes and energy. She’s very personable and motivating. I am happy with my membership!

This is an excellent gym! It always appears to be crowded by looking at the parking lot, but there is so much space inside that it is not crowded at all. They have so many treadmills, bikes, stair steppers, and elliptical machines etc. that there is never a wait. AND...it is very clean and sanitary. Everyone sprays and wipes off equipment after each use. I feel very safe here.
