Crunch Fitness - Abilene

If you want child care then this place is a complete joke. I went 3 times and by the third time my 20 month old was screaming and crying before we got into the front door. When asked if they could try to get up and play with her the grown babies that hired to supervise and watch kids told me they don’t want the kids to get used to playing with the adults, they were on their phone facing the computer the whole time, they were letting the older kids run through the doors, and they couldn’t be bothered to actually watch any kids because that would have required them to interact with them and do their jobs. If you have a 4+ year old then maybe this is an okay place but for a mom needing help this is a joke. After reaching out to other moms this is very common amongst moms with younger kids and toddlers specially at this location. Don’t waste your time or money. Try going to The Y. My baby LOVES it and all the women are just amazing. I spoke with 3 different managers and not a single thing was changed except them ignoring my daughter more if that’s even possible. DONT GET A MEMBERSHIP IF YOU WANT KIDS CARE!!

Thought this place was good. Could get packed, but it had everything you could want. I was tasked with a short notice deployment and they wouldn’t accept deployment orders to my cancel membership. Not trying to use the military excuse, but almost everywhere is willing to work with the military. Not this place.

I've been trying for a while to cancel my membership here as I had to move very quickly due to military. I would have said it's a great location if it weren't for this difficulty. Been almost 2 years since I I've lived near here. I even sent a message months ago to try to get my membership moved to a location near me and got no response.

I wish I could give Zero ...they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE..RUDE EMPLOYEES THAT HANG UP IN YOUR FACE JUST CAUSE I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. They lie and give FALSE emails for management. Very unprofessional. I would NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO DO BUSINESS HERE. And when I asked their employee for the corporate office number .they claim they don't have one. What type of business doesn't have a corporate number to file compliments on their RUDE, HANGING UP EMPLOYEES. I do not care if they only work at Crunch for two days or not. CUSTOMER SERVICE is what brings business but I know they sure lost mine and will pass on to everyone I know that Crunch is not the best place to do fitness. They customer service sucks 100 percent and customer cancellation is even worse.

Shower and locker area were filthy and all stalls didn't have soap. This happened shortly after a cleaning appointment. The worker closed the washroom to "clean it" but looked like he didnt do much in there. The equipment was not very well maintained, most cable machines are falling apart. Membership is not very flexible. Advertising a low price $10-15 but when you sign up ends up being around $45 this supposedly includes an annual fee for maintenance which is not being used for that purpose.

Mens Locker rooms are always dirty an nasty. Mens bathroom was dirty and nasty this morning 7/27/2022 . You I formed the staff at desk usually get tell you they can't leave the desk or just say ok. They want you to clean equipment after you finish using paper dispensers are empty/ spray bottles empty or broken. Unfriendly staff. Would not recommend to anyone just for my contract to expire. . Dirty facilities

This place is awesome. I stayed in Abilene for about 8 days. When I arrived here I was told I can get a 7-Day free pass. Do not go to Anytime Fitness on the north side of town near CVS. This place will do you right.. The staff is so incredibly friendly. The gym is huge. I would suggest that if you are looking for classes and if your phone has enough storage space download the app to look for classes or go on your laptop to look for classes.

Convenient hours. Membership for a small fee, but there is an annual fee. I don't get the annual fee. This is not a rewards credit card.To update I switched gym. I think the locker room is small compared to the size of the place, and it was not always clean. I like that it has a sauna, but due to some of the guests' poor hygiene and BO I could not even use it. I do not lift and prefer weight machines. They were not working right.

Unfriendly staff never greet you or knowledge you coming in or leaving. Locker room are dirty. They want you to wipe down equipment after your done paper towels dispenser are empty or not working. Also spray bottles are broken leaking. Leg curl equipment has been broken for over month informed staff but nothing done about it and as well as leg extensions missing knob as well as informed staff.

Good gym equipment, but the ladies bathroom is awful, is always dirty, I try to avoid the stalls as they are filthy, the gym its self is good but the bathroom is awful. Its been this way for months literally months. There is a sign in the bathroom where you can text when the bathrooms are in need of attention, I have text it but does not seem to help. Maybe these reviews will get the GM attention.
