For the most part decent, although people still don't wear masks much. It's kind of disappointing, as I wear one to protect others as well as myself.People, unfortunately, aren't taking the health precautions necessary to protect themselves and others.

Mysterious charges on my account. Came in last week no problem, this week they say I have an outstanding fee of +$100??? Front desk was very rude when i asked about what the charges were and couldnt tell me what it was for. Also denied a friend a job "because the manager wanted a man on that shift" 0/10 if possible

They always have a problem with something you do. I took a 2 minute phone call and they asked me to take it somewhere else. Meanwhile I can hear the entire conversation between the two employees. Right next to me. I had to come back and re-edit because the same lady who asked me take my call somewhere else. Gets on the phone right in front of me. I give her the look. She laughs and goes to the lobby. Killed me entire vibe that day. Yes she was a staff member.

I went to cancel my membership because I got a peloton and the girl didn't know what it was. Company makes everything difficult. Changing rooms have no space for your stuff outside a tiny stool. Not consistent to location in that some have hair dryers and nice lockers, others don't. No dry counters in bathroom!!!!!

Staff is always friendly and professional. Gym is kept quite clean and gym goers are polite. Excellent facility overall as long as you're not looking for free weights. There's not a usable barbell anywhere and dumbbells max out at 65 lbs. Still, a great spot!

I would not recommend this facility for anyone with a thread of decency. A friend of mine and long time member was mistreated recently based on their ethnic background. Their staff is racist!

In Wooster ours was 25/7 apparently a lot of them around Akron are only 24/5. I love this one specifically because it's always clean. They leave towels to wipe down and it's open 25/7 that's the best.

The only thing about this location I like is the fact that it's 2 exits up from my work. No joke the only thing about it that makes me go to this one. I go to this one only for tanning during my lunch break. But lately I haven't been coming as much because I do not want my mood ruined by the staff. They aren't all bad. But most of them stare like they don't know what a customer is it they are too busy talking to each other. The newer young guy is pretty nice I will give them that. The newer young girl at the front is ,AWEFUL. Everytime I come in she basically tries to rip my lanyard off of my wrist. No one else needs the whole lanyard. But apparently she really wants it. She doesn't even ask, she just pulls it while it is still attached to me!! Which does that! Then she takes her jolly old time to start the bed for me, if she starts it at all. 2 times I have gone in there. Got undressed, and had to call hecausbit isn't staryed. And don't worry she is rude about it. This past week I went twice. The first time she was too busy talking to some random guy to even pay me any mind. She ignored me until someone else came. Then she was like oh I should maybe work. Then the next time the nicer new guy was trying to check me in and noticed it had been 2 minutes shy of 24 hours for me to tan. No big deal we could wait. She walks behind him and looks over his shoulder and LOUDLY proclaims "she can't tan today!!" He said well she can if we wait 2 minutes. She looks again and rolls her eyes and is like whatever. Not once looking at me. Just rude. I mean if she is a good worker just get her out of the front desk. I am not the only one she is doing this to either. I have witnessed it many times as I stand and an ignored. I know this is a long review but jeez. Is it that hard to get good people in there .Your location is terrible with the parking lot and neighborhood, at least get some people in there to make it a little more welcome!!

The memes about PF are 100% ture: bagels, pizza, and tootsie rolls. That doesn't bother me so much. What does bother me is the staff at this location not enforcing any rules except the "Lunk Alarm."Today an older gentleman was on a machine that I had also been using. During one of his rest periods, I asked if I could work-in i.e., alternate using the machine. He told me "no." He then proceeded to monopolize the machine for five minutes. I stood there waiting my turn. He kept telling me "there are other machines," but he was wrong about that. There is only one of these machines there. Secondly, he told me "waiting there won't make me go faster," but I was literally standing there silently. Finally, he went and filed a complaint about me standing next to him waiting for the machine. He said he "doesn't like to be bothered like that."I'll admit, he and I had words because he wasn't telling the entire story to the employee. Working in is common gym etiquette, and this guy was in the wrong. However, my biggest complaint is with the staff. When this guy got in my face the employee, Mandi, did nothing. She just smiled and laughed. Maybe she was nervous, but who knows. I confirmed with her that he was the one breaking the rules. I (sarcastically) asked if when people ask me to work in, I can tell them "no" and be assured that the employees will have my back. She said she would talk to the guy, but she never did.I decided to cancel my black card membership once my workout was over. When I walked up to the manager she said "hey can we talk" in a tone that indicated that I was the one who needed a talking to. I just stopped her there and said "yea, I need to cancel my membership."This is not a gym for anyone is wants to do more than pretend to be a gym go-er. The employees don't enforce any rules (no cellphones on the floor, wipe down your machines, work-in, re-rack your weights) and so they create these kind of environments. At the end of the day, go to LA Fitness if you want a place where people actually know how to work out with other people.Don't waste your money at Planet Fitness.Edit: Saw your reply. There is no way to respond to the Google review response by an owner. Please let me know how to reach out to you directly. I called and left my contact information with the Regional Manager (Rachel) earlier today, but never received a call back.

Open 24/7 great environment & nice people overall. Immediately felt welcome here the first day I got a membership. Wish they had actual barbells but everything else accommodating.
