My very first gym experience, and I have to say, definitely impressed. Large variety in the exercise equipment that appeals to both weightlifting and calisthenics, extremely friendly and informative staff, and overall a very judgement-free zone. Will absolutely be coming here on a regular basis.

The staff are always welcoming. They are always cleaning there to make sure everything is sanitized. If something needs done, they do it in a timely manner. Can't beat a regular membership for $10. They don't have barbells, but they do have smith machines instead. They have all types of machines for different muscle groups. I love that they have multiple types of weight in dumbbells'. They just remodeled and it looks nice. Only downfall might be when it's busy because it can be crowded, but that is to be expected. Other than that I recommend this facility!

I'm extremely impressed with the service at Planet Fitness. A couple of weeks ago my credit card fell out of my wallet while leaving the gym and Lincoln, a team member from Planet Fitness, called me and said he had it securely in the safe for when I was ready to pick it up. Talk about great care and respect for their guests! Lincoln, Kayla, and Mandy are all phenomenal workers at PF Akron and I'm proud to call it my home gym.

I really appreciate the cleanliness. I love that the workers get to know your name and they greet you every time that you come through the doors. Thank you for keeping the standards high. I will always have a membership here. A grateful gym membership member. Blessings!

Showers do not drain. You have to stand in 3 inches of water while showering. It is gross.

This location is not compatible with Tivity Fitness Your Way despite it being listed on their website, and also calling ahead of time and being told it would work. Please correct this online and educate your employees. Thank you!
