The new babysitting service is so convenient and hassle free, not to mention the childcare workers are super sweet and attentive. The front desk staff are so polite and make it their mission to fix any problems or concerns that members have. Of all the gyms I've had memberships at, AF by far has the best atmosphere, especially for those early morning workouts.

Friendly staff and they take care of their members! Although it's a smaller gym, they have all the equipment you will need for beginners and/or advanced! The gym, all around, just has good vibes and is affordable!

I have had a horrible experience with management. I actually really like the trainers, all of them seem knowledgeable and eager to help. This isn’t enough to compensate for their shady business practices. I regret not reading these comments to begin with, because it would of saved me a lot of money. I misunderstood the contract and thought I signed up for a 1 year membership and to start off I would try 1 month trainer. Turns out if you select a trainer during your contract, they sign you up for a year. 30 days later I told them I can’t afford a trainer at this time so I won’t be needing one for the next month. They told me I was locked into a year contract with a trainer, but I could freeze the account and resume it later. I agreed and have the emails to prove it. 3 months later my account still hasn’t been frozen, I paid $750 in total, I was told that they would give me store credit, I received 0 store credit, and now they aren’t answering my calls or email.After talking with Jen via email she actually refunded me and took the trainer out of my contract. If possible I would take this review down. It was a hassle getting in touch with her admittedly, but in the end It worked out

Love the fitness classes - the instructors and fellow students feel like family. I appreciate that my work out buddies care about my health and fitness, it makes me feel accountable, so I show up!

The amazing staff at Alaska Fitness have been instrumental in assisting me with fitness goals that are realistic and obtainable. And with the 24/7 availability of the gym it really fits into my busy lifestyle. I look forward to my next workout , thanks Alaska Fitness.

Nice gym. But watch out your bank account. Sneak money. Double charge, charge early is their rules because you sign something you probably even didn’t read!

Great environment, friendly staff, interior upkeep maintained and secured. Good selection of protien and energy drinks come in a variety of flavors depending on availability. There is an assortment of equipment for your bodies needs.

The Gym equipment and everything is ok. But the billing is messed up. They over charged me constantly and then fought me for the refunds. Even after leaving the gym the are still billing me. Have to cancel credit card!

As others have mentioned their membership contracts are not transparent and they will charge you forever without a written cancellation form even if you think your contract has expired. Very unethical business.
