Great Master Yu and instructors. There is always high energy and the atmosphere is always conducive to learning. The teaching is also great, so everything is very easy to learn. Even if you are having trouble, the master Yu and instructors provide an incredible amount of support to get you to where you need to be.This has been the best experience for my daughter, keeps her active, helps learn to focus and builds confidence. They are the BEST!

Champ martial arts is an amazing place for kids to learn taekwondo and self defense. They provide an amazing afterschool and summer camp program that all kids would enjoy. Master Yu is an awesome teacher of martial arts and teaches more than just physical training such as life lessons and discipline.

My 3 children and I have been with Champ for over 20 years. My first and 2nd children are instructors hold 4th degree and youngest one is 2nd degree. We love Champ Martial Arts! They are the Best! All my life Champ Martial Arts!

I've been to a few gyms and dojos and earned a blue belt in jiu jitsu. I started coming here cuz my other gym was closed due to covid. They have a good system. The instructors push me to condition my body as well as my self control. I'm still a white belt but the basics here also seem to be the basics of jiu jitsu and practicing basics has real fight application although when you become good you no longer have the fear that's leads to unnecessary fights Master yu is strict but I feel like the difficulty of his program makes my other aspects of life easier. I still don't know these people that well but I think it's a great use of my time. Just wish adult classes were longer, I'm always a little sad when class is over. Is this the best martial arts gym in anchorage? I don't know but I do know I'm better then where I was.
