Our son regularly attends Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes at Pioneer Grappling. The gym is professional, and the coaches are patient with children. Techniques are explained in ways that are appropriate for the age group. I would definitely recommend!

I’ve trained here on and off for about 6 years and it’s the best and only gym where you will get legit Brazilian jiu jitsu training in the valley. once you start you will never want to stop because of how fun the sport is and the people you meet and the community it creates in your life. I love BJJ and I love this gym!

My Son has been coming to Jiu-jitsu since November of 2022. His grappling skills have improved immeasurably. He loves coming to class, and is excited to be at the gym. The training facilities are probably the best in Alaska.The instructors are amazing! Instructors Harlee and Kelly are EXTREMELY patient and have an amazing way of teaching complex techniques to young kids. World class Jiu-jitsu facility right here in the Valley!

Pioneer Grappling is the best place for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the Matanuska Valley! They offer many classes through the week which is nice with my ever changing schedule. I have been going for a couple years now and I LOVE IT!
