Core Collective is the best. I've relied on yoga for about 15 years and I was ready to add something new and do more strength & conditioning. I tried out three pilates places in Ann Arbor and Core Collective is next-level. Emily & the team are so amazing -- they're friendly, relaxed, they love teaching, and they don't assault you with memberships or psycho fitness culture. The studio just feels like a bunch of buddies getting together to listen to music and workout for fun. I've tried reformer pilates several times over the years, including fancy studios in big cities, and it never really clicked for me until now. Coming from yoga, sometimes I feel like a beginner in pilates and other times I need the advanced moves -- the CC teachers are great at helping you adjust to get the most out of it for you. Also the classes are 45 minutes rather than an hour, which is AMAZING and somehow makes it so much easier to squeeze a class into a busy day. And they have classes all day at all times, which helps a ton too! I have been managing to get in twice a week, which is a first in my life. THANK YOU!

I love the classes at Core Collective. The instructors are very knowledgeable on different moves and technique. Everyone at the studio is very welcoming regardless if you have been doing pilates for years or just starting. Core Collective offers a variety of classes during different times of the day which is super nice to fit into my busy schedule. LOVE Core Collective Ann Arbor!!

I’ve been attending classes at Core Collective Ann Arbor since their opening in December 2017. I LOVE coming here for several reasons:1. The instructors are all incredible. Each has her own style and element in their class, but all of them are kind, helpful, and clearly have a passion for what they do!2. The studio is clean, and has tons of natural light.3. The members are all amazing and bring good-vibes. I don’t come from any sort of athletic background, so it’s important for me that my place of fitness does not feel judgmental- This place is all good vibes and encouraging.4. They clearly WANT us to keep coming! They’re great at reaching out to the community to find ways they can better meeting the needs.5. Obviously, the workouts are fantastic! My muscles always feel more sculpted and awake during the class- and the day after.

This is an amazing studio! As a college student I had been looking for a fun place to workout that was still affordable and had lots of class times. This has been the best place I've tried in Ann Arbor. I get a great work out every time that's always different! I hadn't done pilates before but I have always felt comfortable thanks to amazing instructors like Emily and Hannah. I recommend this to anyone no matter what level of fitness and after about 6 months I feel like I could hold a plank for days.

This pilates studio is an amazing place! The instructors are extremely warm and welcoming, while the workouts are very challenging. My physical therapist recommended pilates for me to heal from a long-term injury, and when I was exploring membership, one of the studio owners did a private session with me just to walk me through form and learn about my fitness needs. I was already "in shape" from years of barre classes, but the classes work muscles I didn't even know I had! I would highly recommend it!

I'm so happy I stumbled upon Core Collective last month, I've made going to their classes part of my weekly routine ever since. The team and teachers are incredibly friendly, the classes are challenging and rewarding and the community is very friendly. Also, the studio itself is exceptionally clean and tidy.Having moved to MI from NY, this pilates studio is now definitely on my list of favorites. Beyond estatic to already be seeing results from attending classes! I always look forward to my classes with them - can't get enough!! :)

I highly recommend this Pilates studio in Ann Arbor! This is the best Pilates studio in so many ways. The owner and teacher, Emily is delightful, warm, caring, welcoming and very knowledgeable. She is also a superb Pilates instructor. She has created a studio where the classes provide challenging exercise but are also fun and comfortable for everyone to reach their own level of attainment. All of the teachers are excellent, with their own style and pace. They are helpful and answer questions about any of the exercises, and show their knowledge of Pilates and the body by how they shape their classes. In the 2 years+ I've been taking classes at this Pilates studio in Ann Arbor, I've gained enormous strength and flexibility. These classes have helped me to overcome knee surgery better than physical therapy. Three friends who I recommended to take classes at this Pilates studio in Ann Arbor, who each had hip and shoulder injuries, are regular students and say the same - the Pilates classes were better than physical therapy.I highly recommend taking classes at this Pilates studio in Ann Arbor. Not only is it great exercise, the structure, hard work, fun and discipline of being in Emily's Pilate's studio helped to keep me sane during this pandemic.

I've sampled several Pilates studios around town and I love it here! I was pretty happy at my previous studio but for challenge, price, and convenient class times this is the place for me. The atmosphere is positive and supportive and I am able to take my 12 year old with me, which we LOVE. The variety of classes are great. The Strength and Stretch class has helped me quite a bit with dealing with a chronic injury I have. Modifications are always offered for differing abilities during class. If you are very new to Pilates and are trying to recover from a significant injury, I might recommend either some private sessions or a semi-private reformer class elsewhere initially (here they have 12 reformers to a class), but other than that this is a wonderful, inclusive place to keep moving.

This is a fantastic studio! The instructors are friendly and supportive. I was new to pilates when I joined, but they made the transition very easy. I've been going consistently for several months now and absolutely love it. The classes are fun yet challenging. I especially enjoy the combo classes, because they keep the workouts fresh and dynamic.

I joined this studio because I was looking for something to help me regain core strength after having a baby. I originally signed up for the 3 days a week plan, but within 2 weeks switched to the unlimited plan because I liked it so much. Not only has Pilates helped with my core strength, it’s a full body workout. I feel stronger both physically and mentally. I like all the instructors! They are all very challenging but offer you modifications so you can do what feels right for your body. It’s also not boring, no one class is the same. You can tell the instructors are creative and come prepared to help you get the best workout. I would definitely recommend this studio!!
