The Mix Fitness Studios is AMAZING! I am a retired professional modern dancer. Being in my 60s now, I need to keep up my strength and balance. I can only take class online because I live out of state and it is like I am in the room with Sarah. She provides helpful movement or positional corrections when needed. She is also praises me which feels great! Although I am in my home I love my class, we laugh and work hard together. My sister and brother also take class and get personal training at The Mix Fitness Studio, it has become a great way to get and stay healthy.

The Mix is a great community no matter your fitness level or ability. In each class, the instructors offer both beginner and advanced options. I am a beginner at some things and advanced at others, so I appreciate this guidance from both sides :) As a longtime runner/road cyclist/mountain biker, I really enjoy the strength classes (including the new Strength 4 Runners class!) which are easy to follow and non-intimidating for people of all levels.

I can't say enough positive things about this fitness studio. I had been working way too much and had been neglecting my self care for the last few years in ways I never had before. I found that this studio offers virtual classes that work with my schedule. The instructors are wonderful! They are supportive and adapt workouts to all ability levels. I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know!

I could not recommend The Mix enough. I have gone to four trampoline classes so far and I can't wait to keep coming back every week. Sarah and Lizzy are fantastic teachers - they are so kind, supportive, and . A full-body workout, while easy on your knees - and with fun music blasting. :) It is such a blast!!!! Thank you Sarah and Lizzy!(Also: I missed a class because I went to the wrong location, and Sarah was so kind and accommodating in giving me extra passes for future classes on the house. Sarah, you are the best.)

I am so glad to have found this place! It's exactly the sort of gym I've been longing for-- small, local, women-owned, classes that are fun and a little challenging but not intimidating. The instructors are fantastic. The space feels cozy and welcoming-- not at all like those huge corporate gyms with fluorescent lights and TVs blaring. If you've been looking to get (back) into fitness in a safe, supportive environment-- consider this your invitation :)

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to join your exercise classes remotely during this COVID-19 crisis. I saw an article a couple of weeks ago that described different ways to stay active and there was a link to The Mix Studios website to sign up for two free courses. I signed up for both. I also decided to purchase a package to attend other courses as well. So far I've participated in three different types of classes remotely and plan to continue to do so. While there are so many YouTube videos and other options for exercising, I really need the commitment and accountability of a scheduled class and the interaction with an instructor to ensure I get the most out of the class and will actually do the exercises! So thank you for your innovative way to keep people active during this time, which has given me the opportunity to start being more active again! The classes are great!

The Mix offers small class sizes and knowledgeable instructors who pay attention to details that keep people working out safely. The variety of classes offers something for everyone. As a yoga instructor, I see classes designed with intention; they give an overall workout while holding my interest, and are changed up on a regular basis.

I take the Kettlebell classes with Evolve Training at Mix Studios and they are awesome. Gretchen is incredibly knowledgeable and works to customize every workout to your level and goals, even in a group class. The group classes are kept small so she can really focus on your form and help you prevent injury. I highly recommend Gretchen and Evolve Training at Mix Studios if you want to add strength training to your workout routine.

Sarah's Mix Total Body workouts are great. I never thought I would be a morning workout person, but I have come to really enjoy these classes. Sarah does a great job of mixing up the routines and doing something interesting each time. I always enjoy her help, motivation, and sense of humor as well!

Great experience at The Mix Studios! Sarah not only engages her workouts with a good mix of cardio and strength training, but she is able to provide appropriate ways for people to adapt as needed. She continues to educate herself on women's bodies as they go through life's changes so that she can provide them with a program fit for all levels. Best of all, Sarah has fun with her clients as well!
