Planet Fitness

I live in Fort Myers FL and come to wisconsin for summer. I have been in many Planet Fitnesses from there to here. Darboy, Oshkosh & Green Bay. This is the most clean gym out of all I have been in. Mike the manager is awesome as is his staff. Very nice club that all the rest should be duplicated from.

Nice, clean facility but.....The last time I worked out, after finishing my exercise, I discovered two people behind me on treadmills without any masks on. I was uncomfortable but was on my way out anyway. By the time I got home I decided I would call PF and cancel my membership until it was safer. After explaining my reason, the new manager stated he was new and was in the process of training staff to enforce the masks. He offered to suspend my payments for 2 months and that I was free to continue using the facility to satisfy myself that it was safe to exercise.I did not go back during those 2 months but stopped by today (Dec. 28) to check. With my mask on, I walked around, noticed the signs stated masks were required, and observed almost half the people were not wearing masks. Some were on Treadmills, ellipticals, weight equipment, etc... The overhead fans were on and I am not sure how that affects the transmission of Covid but felt uneasy as the air hit me.I cancelled my membership and I could not help but notice even the person helping me only had his mask pulled up to the tip of his nose. To be clear, I am at higher risk than many and therefore, my expectations are different than others and are the basis for this less than stellar review.The facility is large and spacious. The equipment is in great condition and the staff appear to be continually cleaning. The staff is also friendly and courteous. I was not asked nor did I state why I was cancelling but the employee entered "covid" as the reason. Technically true, but the real reason was that wearing face masks is not enforced. When the pandemic is over, or I have been vaccinated and feel safe, I may return.

Good gym. I feel comfortable working out there. Wish they were open 24hours! I see responses to other reviews saying “talk to staff of the location so that they can assist with customers’ needs”.... I need a gym open later than 9pm to fit into my work/school/personal schedule 🤷🏼‍♀️ …

24 hours it is not. Every other 24 hour gym in town has been open regular hours for many months but PF continually hides behind covid and "safety" to keep limited hours even though they charge regular rates. I continually ask managers and staff when we get what we pay for and get 'i don't know' every time. Its a shame.. the staff is nice and gym is and always has been clean. I wouldn't currently recommend a membership here unless you enjoy limited hours.

I always feel safe when I go to this Planet Fitness location in particular, even though we are in a pandemic. I can see that the staff is doing all they can do to distance everyone working out. The staff are also very nice and welcoming. My favorite Planet Fitness club I've been to.

Great gym- loving coming here. Always feel welcome and safe! However- the amount of people not wearing masks is shocking. Nobody is ever asked why or confronted on it either. Might want to encourage the staff to remind customers that masks are required there. The CDC just released a report saying gyms, when people aren’t in masks, are Covid super spreading locations. Just my two cents.

Good place to work out, very clean too. The staff was very friendly & most helpful. Today, while working out, my phone was boosted by another member. I’ve never experienced this kind of issue here before but thanks to the prompt response by staff, it was found. Weird enough, it was actually found right in my own locker too. I know this sounds a bit “sketchy” now, like I may have forgotten that I left it the locker myself, however this is 100% not the case. While working out on the floor, I even sent out a few text messages and changed my music playlist... I can’t pretend to know exactly how this all came to happen however there were a couple of guys in the locker room (when I first came in) that most likely saw me leave without placing a lock on the locker that I chose... Regardless, if it was done by them or not, the staff was very attentive, inquisitive and proceeded with caution.

I love this gym in particular. The facility is pretty amazing; especially when you see what the other PF have to offer. Definitely the best PF I've been to. I actually look forward to and enjoy working out at this location. This place has so much variety of equipment that the other PFs (that I've been to) just don't have and they keep them in good condition. Their Black Card facilities are hands down better as are the locker rooms and showers. Fortunately this one on W College was my first experience with PF. If I'd started with one of these other ones I really don't think I would have joined. As it is it's more of a chore again now that I'm temporarily stuck with a different location. The staff at all the facilities always seem very nice. It's just the equipment at the others that's lame. Can't wait to get back to this location.

I’m here from out of town. This Planet Fitness is awesome very clean and have the equipment I need. Great job guys and very friendly!!!

Went as a guest, but will be getting my own membership. Very clean, and no judgment zone for sure.
