Used to go a ton until the move. I'm not sure all the employees were prepped for the move because no one provided me an opportunity to fill out any cancellation paperwork. I got a verbal that I was all set and my account would not be active after the transition but 5-months later realized I had still been getting charged on my credit card. When I complained on the phone the manager happily cancelled my account without any paperwork being filled out again but obviously no refund. Really poor customer experience.

I cancelled my membership in December when they moved from Somerville and just realized they kept charging me. They refuse to give me a refund and asked me to drive to Arlington in person to cancel. These guys are scam artists

The gym is great It’s clean and the staff is awesome. BUT it’s insanely crowded. If you want to do cardio or use a bench, you are waiting roughly around 15-25 minutes at peak hours (weekdays 3pm-8pm) just to use any machine. Also, the place is dripping from humidity. It’s not the gyms fault since they don’t own the building, but sometimes you’ll get hit with drops of water from condensation on the ceiling.

Nice gym. Small, but has everything I need as a casual workout person. I have never felt the place is overcrowded. My only complaint is that little things like the paper towel dispensers are often broken, and they have a cheap little scale in the women's locker room (now broken) -

I love this gym!! I go between 6-7am and there are always treadmills available. Facilities are clean and staff are friendly enough for it being 6am 😂 …

A very neat and clean gym with most equipment a person needs, in great working condition. Also very clean lockers, at least the men’s.

Good price and like the month trial period to know for sure if you really like it or not. We do like it. 😀 …

Agree with some of the other more recent reviews on here; it is not a super efficient use of space and somewhat of a gym going through an identity crisis. Haphazard strength items that seem to cater to no one in specific and are a bit out of place (tire, multiple punching bags, etc). They take away space from other standard machines/racks that are slammed during busy periods. But at the same time, the gym does little else to make it feel useful for “serious lifters,” so difficult to gage what clientele this gym is for.Minimal parking, choice of music is off, and treadmills/cardio machines crammed directly on top of each other, and most of all it is EXTREMELY HOT. The walls were literally sweating by the cardio machines due to the excessive humidity in the gym. Good for water loss, bad for comfort.I cannot see how this is an upgrade over the Assembly SC location and unfortunately looks to be very overcrowded at peak times due to the merge. Decent price but I cannot seem to find many “improvements” I was promised this consolidation of gyms would bring

I was a member of Assembly sports club for a month and a half, I was a fan of the location and low foot traffic. About two months in, I heard they are moving, which really sucked because Id have to once again find a new gym.Long story short, when I tried to cancel, they charged me for two additional months and the person at the front desk put the reasoning for my cancellation being “not using my membership”, when I repeatedly told her I was leaving because of them moving, seemed like an underhand way to cover themselves…

Small and cramped gym with everyone on top of each other. I would hate to see what it looks like during peak hours. They are expanding soon but that expansion includes a hair salon and a nail salon (why?!) so it remains to be seen how much new equipment there will be.Also no bumper plates. Only two squat racks but not many people use them so usually at least one is free.Don't forget your water bottle; the water fountain looks moldy
