Definitely has great equipment and the staff is great. I did not give it 5 stars because the women's locker room could use some serious deep cleaning. The fans blowing air in there have mountains of dust as they haven't been cleaned in years! Even the paper towel dispensers in there have a mountain of dust. Besides the cleanliness in there, seems to always be out of paper towels, somethings always out of order, and just looks like it is in need of major renovation (leak marks all over the ceiling). Still a great place to get a workout in and not overly priced so I would still recommend. Hope they can renovate that locker room soon.

Love this Y! I’ve been coming here since I was about 13- I’m 25 now! This, in my opinion, is the best YMCA in western North Carolina! It has everything you could need plus smiling faces when you check in or leave. The staff is wonderful and the facility (other than the locker rooms) are always clean! The hot tub, sauna, and pool are the best way to finish my workouts!

Great venue, and reasonably priced. Plus basketball 8-10 had a fantastic Coach, who was extremely dedicated and did a great job with the kids.

I love the multitude of classes offered in the pool and the classes. I love the fact that I can do water therapy with my husband bc it's coed - sauna, steam, and hot tub. It's really great they have two lifeguards on duty at all times at the pool. Safety first is great! I consider myself a great swimmer and value safety in and around all water. Grateful for lifeguards.I have recently discovered my passion for mermaiding-bought a tail with a monofin this holiday season. I was so excited to join the YMCA knowing that there was nowhere written in the rules and regulations saying, "no mermaid tails."The one Saturday I chose to swim in the pool with my tail, a manager was reached by one of the two lifeguards on duty and confirmed, "Absolutely NO mermaid tails!" It was confirmed though by the lifeguard that I could swim with the monofin along with the vinyl fluke that gets zipped inside the fluke and which propels the fabric tail itself. It's not the same, both I am glad I can at least do that. Still, disappointing, especially because it's one of the main reasons I got a membership this year.So many people have asked me, "Why no mermaid tail." I don't exactly know, bc it wasn't explained. I imagine for liability reasons. I've seen petitions online created by members in the past that have not succeeded.I would like for the YMCA to have these rules written so there is clarity, and with the reasons why, or reconsider the use of mermaid tails.

Large, clean, hospitable facility with a wide diversity of offerings for all ages. Excellent programs for children, including childcare options with attentive staff. One of our family favorites: the climbing wall, open to all ages: Both individuals who officially operate the safety ropes for children are educationally-minded and I see my daughters shine under their caring coaching. Every employee I have met here engages with excellent customer service. I witnessed a situation in which emergency care was needed: Reuter staff responded immediately, quickly, and calmly. As a family living in the Canton area, we go the extra miles to get to Reuter because this location (as a whole) goes the extra mile.

Nicest club in the whole area. Hendersonville YMCA is old and ratty. Needs a total overhaul.

Friendly staff but saunas are not clean and not hot enough. No decent level tv's

As a new member I can only say this is the best exercise and physical fitness facility I have ever joined in a half century of memberships. The entire building and all the equipment is kept in pristine condition, with staff constantly making rounds to glean and wipe down the machines. Staff are friendly and professional. I’ve not yet taken any classes but they appear to be wildly popular and well attended. Kudos!

Ymca is here to save the day. Such an amazing investment for a family of four. Starting the year right with this membership. 7 locations to choose from, amazing classes to motivate you. Highly recommended
