BY FAR THE BEST IN ATHENS. I've been a member literally since they opened--almost 20 years, going back to the Omni days. The current rates are amazing (19/month) and the facilities as well. For a combination of machine weights and free weights and aerobic machines like ellipticals there is NOTHING like it anywhere else in town.

Signed up for a free 3 day pass and was told I could not work out because I don’t live in Athens. My county has no gyms and this location is only a 20 minute drive from my place. I go to Crunch 6/7 days a week and living outside of Athens has never been a problem there. Shouldn’t advertise a free pass for potential members then reject it for an illegitimate reason.

Good equipment and prices but the gym is very busy.Keep an eye on your gym bag too, mine got stolen during a lift.

Half of the good reviews are from employees so beware of that! Not kept up with at all. And it needs to be completely remodeled since the odor and equipment will not be fixed. Cancellation policy is terrible and honestly you might as well just go to crunch.

A member here and it is only because of the Saunas. The gym is very unclean, has an odor most times, and everyone seems to be okay with it. No one ever wipes down equipment because there is never disinfectant to use. The saunas have trash underneath the booths. The staff is super friendly but they clearly don't take pride in a sanitary environment. Have never once seen anyone clean.This could really be a 5 star gym if there was simply a commitment to a professional sanitary clean feeling gym. I maintain a membership at another gym just to have a peaceful clean feeling experience without the saunas. Hopefully this motivates some solutions and actual wiping stations for a cleaner environment!

This location used to be great but maintenance is clearly no longer a concern to the management team here.For almost two years now half of the men’s showers have been out of order. The steam room is disgusting and smells. The sauna has rotten wood. There is never cleaning supplies available to wipe your machines. The roof leaks every time it rains so much that they put out several plastic totes to catch all the water. The floor is a safety hazard, there are holes under the padding that you could easily trip over.This gym is more expensive than other local gyms and is always very busy. There is absolutely no excuse for the state of this place.

Needs new massage chairs.Over time they have taken away more and given less. The membership price I pay is Great! The women's side needs new equipment. The one stair stepper is always broke. However this is the only gym with a secluded women's side which I love but please fix it.

First visit was pretty good. Lots of different equipment including lots of free weights.

This gym does not keep up with maintenance despite being more expensive than other gyms. There are several machines broken in the women’s gym that haven’t been fixed in months. The womens steam room has been out of order for two years and the light inside the sauna and dressing rooms have been broken for months. Considering that a membership here is more than Crunch, I think it’s unfair that they can’t keep up with basic maintenance

This gym is great, it has everything I need & more!! Lots of open floor space and plenty of equipment. Locker rooms are spacious and perfect for hanging out in between workouts/sets… there’s even a pool table in the Men’s. The Women’s locker room has a private Women’s only gym so while it doesn’t really benefit me as a guy, it is a nice feature if you’re looking to get the S/O to come. Overall great environment & friendly employees. Crunch & Anytime fitness both suck compared to this place. 10/10 would recommend if looking for good gym in Athens.
