No, I have not worked out on a regular basis in a few years, and yes I had bi-lateral knee joint repalcement a couple of months ago, besides being old enough to be the class grandmother !Pure Barre is a low impact entire body workout. The facility is upscale and the instructors are excellent and easy to follow...but don't let that fool you! When you're finished with class you definitely know you had a great workout. Hope to continue, I can already see results. Definitely 5 star!!!

I have only been taking classes at Pure Barre for 2 weeks and I can honestly say I love it. The instructors know exactly what they're doing and are always so eager to push you/make you better. It really sets the tone for the rest of my day and I feel more positive and confident.

Finishing up my first week and a half and loving it so far. You can pace yourself however challenging you want the class to be. As a physical therapist, I can appreciate all the postural work in the classes to prevent injury. I wish more stretching was incorporated, but you can always do that at home pretty easily. Overall, it is a great regimen if you are wanting a well thought out, injury reduction/improvement, and challenging exercise program. The price is obviously more expensive than a gym membership, but the expertise in the exercises and the instruction is unmatched by most other exercise plans.

As someone with chronic pelvic pain, finding a workout that not only challenges me but also provides some relief to the constant pain is almost unheard of but that’s what Pure Barre does for me! I have loved the classes ever since I started a month and a half ago! I love this location and all the instructors! Keep up the great work!

It is fun working out in Pure Barre Athens! Each class is different and challenging. I always feel great after the work out. The instructors are very encouraging and helpful and the staff are very friendly.

PB Athens is a great place to get a challenging workout that varies every time you go. Instructors are encouraging and work to make sure your form is proper on each exercise. I am a runner so all the workouts help build the muscles I need to stay healthy and I have really enjoyed this change of pace in my workouts!

After making my way around different fitness studios in Athens, Pure Barre is at the top of my list. The instructors are great at verbalizing what to do so you don't feel confused, and go above and beyond to tweak individuals form when needed. Love this studio.

As an avid runner, I've always enjoyed being active and going to the gym but starting pure Barre has worked muscles I never knew I had! I love the Athens studio because the teachers are not only encouraging but also take the time to help you improve your form. Highly recommend!

Let's be honest, I haven't really worked out in a few years...and I've never taken dance so signing up for my first class at Pure Barre was a bit intimidating. But, I loved it! The staff has been incredibly welcoming, instantly putting me at ease. While the classes are challenging, I never feel out of my league or embarrassed. An instructor is always there to guide, reposition and then encourage. I have done Cross Fit, step, running, circuits, boot camp...all the big muscle exercising, and eventually, my knees started to be impacted. This is different. Small motions, but 3 hours after class, I am still feeling the effect. A bonus is that the actual space is lovely with great smelling candles, and I look forward to this 50 minute gift to myself each class.

Pure Barre is an incredible workout experience. I am someone with a disability that walked into the studio afraid to work out again, but the instructors made me feel right at home and ready to work out again. They are accommodating, friendly, and push you to your limits each time. I look forward to each class every time and can’t imagine ever participating in another group fitness class. PBA is amazing!!!!
