Let's be honest, I haven't really worked out in a few years...and I've never taken dance so signing up for my first class at Pure Barre was a bit intimidating. But, I loved it! The staff has been incredibly welcoming, instantly putting me at ease. While the classes are challenging, I never feel out of my league or embarrassed. An instructor is always there to guide, reposition and then encourage. I have done Cross Fit, step, running, circuits, boot camp...all the big muscle exercising, and eventually, my knees started to be impacted. This is different. Small motions, but 3 hours after class, I am still feeling the effect. A bonus is that the actual space is lovely with great smelling candles, and I look forward to this 50 minute gift to myself each class.

I love Pure Barre Athens! Every teacher challenges you and tries to help you improve individually even during a full class. The workout really helps with concentrated areas and I always leave feeling great(yet sore) and excited for my next class! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to tone muscles and find a workout that is unique and fun!

I absolutely love Pure Barre Athens! I've tried many workout classes and this is the only one that keeps me coming back! Perfect place for a whole-body workout. The instructors are super motivating and the studio is always clean. 10/10 would recommend!

None of the instructors made any effort to show me how to modify poses. The classes also get very cramped. I do not recommend Rachel's class especially. It's goes too fast and she's not helpful. It's frustrating when you're spending so much $$$$$ for these classes and then no one is around to help you.The studio felt very impersonal to me. One of the reasons I go to workout classes in general is for the live interaction and modifications. If it wasn't for that, I'd just do a workout DVD at home. I almost felt like I was just following a live workout video. For this reason, I choose not to continue my membership. If you are a beginner to barre classes, you will probably be completely lost here. Even though this studio is just a few blocks from my home, I will probably not visit again. I am going to try classes at Above Barre. Hoping they will be more helpful.

This has been my best workout experience! Everything from the decor to the clothes to the teachers is incomparably amazing. Not only will you be in the best shape of your LIFE, but you will get to do it with dedicated, sweet teachers who know how to help you get the most out of Pure Barre. Everyone from the studio owner, Connie, to the studio manager, Allie, to each of the teachers is such a joy to work with that you'll be coming for more than just to LTB.

starting pure barre was the best decision I could've made for me. It is the best full body workout you could ask for and with their new class, empower, you are pushing your limits way past what you thought they were. I love the environment of pure barre because all of the teachers make an effort to get to know you and by making it personal they are able to give you critiques and compliments during class. I also enjoy the community that partakes in pure barre because it is a bunch of women building one another up, 10/10 would recommend to anyone, regardless of fitness level or experience.

I decided to try this on a whim, and quickly became addicted. The staff is incredible and I'm in better shape now than I have been in my entire life of running and doing any and every sort of work out. I couldn't be more obsessed with this exercise program and everything about the studio, from the bright colors to the awesome music to the fabulously knowledgable and friendly instructors.I was worried about starting this because it seemed really complicated, but the teachers are incredible and you learn the lingo and moves so quickly. I've suffered from tendonitis in my knee, ankle, and wrists for years, but the Pure Barre method is so low impact that I'm actually feeling better than ever.If you've ever thought about trying this or are looking to shake up your exercise routine, it's totally worth it!
