A nice gym but they do miss the mark on several areas.1) it is busy. Like good luck finding a bench busy.2) the weights for the benchs seem to be in short supply or to have grown legs3) certain pieces of equipment need some maintenance or to be replaced.4) the movie theater is prone to showing interesting non workout related movies. I do not consider twilight to be gym appropriate.Small things would make it better but the price is hard to beat.

If you’re looking for a cheap gym with zero cleanliness or working equipment you’re at the right spot. Been going since January of this year and finally got feed up with it. Bathrooms are an absolute mess, gym equipment is constantly broken and takes weeks to fix. They’re adding new equipment which is nice but, once people start to get ahold of it good luck. It will be broken with the month. Weights r never racked and hardly cleaned. I don’t dare go into the pool or sauna cause who knows when that gets cleaned.Additionally if you cancel before 6 months you’ll get charged 25 bucks so much for being cheap. Good luck

The locker rooms always seem to need attention. The cardio room that shows the movies seems to only work 50% of the time.**update** I've been going to this gym for about 2 months or so, and I had to remove one of the 3 stars I previously gave them. Pretty much all of the leg extension machines were broken. This is one of the few reasons I keep a gym membership. 😒 clients should get a discount when the machines, movie screens, etc., aren't able to be used. Oh, and the bathrooms still need attention. 🥴

This place is great well-maintained and the staff are friendly the manager anarion ( probably spelled that wrong) was very welcoming, and he was great to work with, and broke down the prices of the plans to me. I will definitely be back.

CANCELING A MEMBERSHIP HERE IS SO FRUSTRATING! If you cancel here, make double, triple, quadruple sure that it is canceled and that they haven't made a difference account for you because they will find a way to continue to charge you monthly, even after your account is canceled.

The only gym I belong to for multiple years and I feel very comfortable going. The studio, red classes and price are unbeatable.

The people behind the counter are condescending and unhelpful. We work at a company that gets discounts at vasa but when we mentioned this to the counter he ignored us and told us we need to have HR sign a waiver, guess what, HR said there is no such thing. We have been there several times now with similar garbage service when trying to buy a beverage. I am glad to say at the next opportunity we are canceling with such a low quality group.

Had to cancel because these gyms have become far too busy but that's expected for $10 a month and a $50 annual maintenance fee.Was charged the $50 maintenance fee in addition to the $10 monthly fee when I cancelled because I was 6 days too late to the 30 day notice before the next annual $50 maintenance fee kicked in. I understand the $10 monthly fee being charged to me, but it is unreasonable to charge me for another year of maintenance when I won't even be a member. I called the company and the lady said that $50 maintenance fee is collected after the completion of every year but that is completely false, because i paid that fee 1 month after I joined this gym in feb 2017 (same day they opened). She was claiming I was being charged the $50 maintenance fee for the prior year (2022) of using the gym but she was completely wrong and I told her I was charged that fee 1 month after joining, and she had no response. She said "we get this complaint alot." They charge this $50 maintenance fee every March 16, according to my statements. I cancelled 2/22/2023. So because I was 6 days past the 30 day notice, I will be paying another $50 maintenance fee for the period March 16, 2023-March 16, 2024, even though my membership is ending March 22, 2023. Instead of being reasonable and just charging me the $10 monthly membership fee for March 2023, they said, nope you gotta pay for this next years annual maintenance fee too despite not being a member.

Specific to the VASA on E Quincy Ave in Aurora. Although they recently did some nice upgrades expanding the weight lifting floor space, unfortunately there seems to be a lack of basic routine maintenance on equipment. Simple equipment such as benches (upright, fixed & adjustable) often have loose or missing bolts making them unstable. Attachments for the cable machines are either damaged or no longer available; tricep ropes for example. I will see things go unchecked or unfixed for months. Hopefully they can improved their standards. Possibly once a week someone checks every piece of equipment? Tightens every bolt? Overall, it does the job for a budget gym.

Nice, clean gym. The staff is polite, and the machines are all in great working order, and wiped clean after each use from someone. Great place to get a good workout. Glad I chose this gym over others in the area.
