Great coaching, well thought out training blocks that go for 4-8 weeks with testing and goals to ensure it stays on track. no workout of the day here. The people and welcoming community are amazing. Atomic is so much more than a gym.

Thoughtful isn’t the word you’d normally use to describe a gym, but there’s truly no better word to describe Atomic Athlete. They’re thoughtful about creating an excellent culture that pushes each individual to break past their limits. They’re thoughtful about their training methods, and they’re meticulous about every detail. They’re thoughtful about knowing the science behind their programming and helping you understand how to benefit the most from it. They’re thoughtful about getting to know their customers. They’re thoughtful about making everyone, “Stronger, Faster, and harder to kill.” Don’t think twice.... Train at Atomic!

Great no frills gym with intelligent motivational coaching. The group workouts quickly become the best part of everyday. I used to complain that my back hurt from sitting at my desk all day and now I have a no more back pain and my productivity at work is even better than what it was. Your classmates quickly become your friends and cheerleaders while your coaches are your tour guide to what your body is actually capable of physically.

Never having done any sort of weight training before, I was intimidated by Atomic and all the strong athletes — but 3 years in, I can count myself as one of them. The coaches have trained and pushed me to be in the best shape so that I can …

Best gym in town if you are looking for challenging, no nonsense, and complete training. Coaches are great, knowledgeable, and keep you safe from doing stupid things that could cause injury down the line. After 2 years of crossfit and …

I've been training at Atomic for about 8 years now. When I started working out there, I couldn't even make it through a full workout. My background in middle distance running didn't prepare me for the mix of short intervals, high intensity, and heavy-weight that Atomic throws at you. It did prepare me for the mental grind that you have to endure to make it through some of the workouts. That may sound like a negative but it's not. I love the struggle and that's what you can expect with Atomic. That and an awesome community of coaches and athletes that work hard and check their ego at the door. Today I'm as fit as I've ever been and I can certainly hold my own but their programming is designed to keep you on your toes. It's amazing how Atomic always exposes areas that need improvement. I'm still finding there's plenty to improve upon and I guess that's why I keep coming back.

This gym is by far the best in Austin. I was a bit intimidated at first to try Atomic. I had never trained in that kind of environment before. After my first workout, I was 100% sold. Everyone was so supportive and welcoming. The coaches are amazing, the programming is legit and the community is like no other.

Best gym in Austin! I've been training at Atomic for 7 years. The programming is spot on, it never gets "easier" and I am constantly evolving into a better athlete. The community is incredible and the gym is no frills but has everything needed to help you reach your fitness goals.

Atomic Athlete: take all my money!I am a huge tightwad and was reluctant to even attend a free week, suspecting I'd really like it and not be able to justify the expense compared to my $40/mo membership at the time. That was four years ago. I'm still training at Atomic, and I love it.1. These guys know what they're doing. I've been to gyms in the past where I could tell the instructors didn't understand the science behind what they were doing or seemed to be making things up on the fly. All of the workouts follow a progression and have a purpose. Plus, the coaches are great at instructing new movements, correcting form, and pushing athletes individually. It's so nice to be able to walk into a class without having to plan my own workouts.2. I'm in the best shape of my life. I love the variety in the workouts at Atomic, and am waaaay stronger and faster (and harder to kill) than I was four years ago.

By far, head over heels, far and way, #1; there aren't enough ways to say that this is the best gym in Austin. The programming is unreal and has a lot of thought behind it. The coaches communicate the reasoning behind the programming and send out weekly updates on how the cycles are progressing and how to address your training. They also offer various paths for training within specific programs. ALSO, if you reach out about specific deficiencies or injuries, they'll provide suitable substitutions. The environment and community is one you won't find anywhere else in Austin. From the coaches to the members at your side, you won't find a more supportive squad than the hard charging folks at Atomic Athlete. I'll be moving out of state for work soon and am 100% sure I'll never find another gym like this.If you go to a gym of any sort I assume your goal is to improve. By this measure, Atomic Athlete is the ONLY gym you should consider in Austin as it'll give you the best opportunity to become a better human.
