Planet Fitness

This location is the dirtiest location I’ve been to so far, mainly in the women’s locker room. The showers were all nasty. I checked them all to find the cleanest one, and none of them were clean. They were all full of hair and left behind items from whomever used them before. There were used pads and tampons in the stalls, and they look like they’d been there for quite a while. That location wasn’t busy at the time, and they had plenty of staff so there’s no reason for it not to be clean. The exercise equipment wasn’t being wiped down, and none of the staff made sure of it because they were all standing in the front talking to each other. I gave them 3 stars because at least they were nice.

I LOVE this planet fitness location. The staff is so friendly and the machines are always clean! They also made it super easy to cancel my membership when I tore my acl.The only singular con about this location is that there is only one leg press sled, which is usually commandeered by a meathead doing supersets.

It was absolutely a perpetual mistake for me to enroll in the first place. Nothing less that a scam. My card has been charged twice with $99 bucks each without my concern. Most out of it the enrolling fee is way too high and a hidden cancelation fee which is way too high as well. Counter servers at this location are way too rude. I feel sorry for putting this up but it is the truth.

I was a member at this gym for approximately 3 weeks (if that?) before cancelling. It's clean, has parking and the staff are nice. However, during week nights it is so outrageously busy it completely ruins your workout. Every time I went I had to spend the first 15-20 minutes wandering around looking for an open piece of equipment (I'm not joking when I say everything was occupied) then finally got on a smith machine before being rushed off by a muscley, meat head. Also beware - no squat racks or kettlebells.

*UPDATE* change from 3 to 1 star. Disgusting showers and dirty locker room! I've gotten to travel alot and this is the most disgusting showers and dirtiest locker room of any Planet Fitness I've ever been to and I've been to many. Ok. Smaller than the one I normally go to. Missing several pieces of equipment I use. Several pieces broken and missing all the 2.5 and 5lb blocks to add to machines.

Planet fitness has come along way. My home gym is off Anderson and 183 but I venture off palmer and mopac because it's close to work and the one off pleasant Valley because it's actually closer to My home location!! Great service in all 3. The workers always wear a smile and are always eager to help when they're needed. I've been going to Planet Fitness for over a decade it feels like. Such a great gym!!!

There were several things I didn't like about this location. First we couldn't find any parking and the parking lot seemed like a hangout spot after a night out at the club. I didn't feel very safe there. The floor seemed very overcrowded and didn't flow well. I also didn't like that the shower doors were frosted and you could still see inside. The only positive comment that I have is that the attendant at the desk was very helpful. I'm glad I was only visiting for a short time. I don't plan on going back to this location.

It's so nice to be able to go to a gym that is open 24/7. 99% of planet fitness gyms went from advertising a friendly 24/7 gym to some stupid 24/5 joke that closes early on the weekends. People are up late on the weekends and need the late night option. Thank you W Anderson planet fitness for being one of the last PF gyms to accommodate people who want to workout at anytime they choose. I hope other PF gyms wake up like you have!

I usually go in the morning, and it's pretty chill. Never have an issue getting to my machines. The hydro massage bed is also a major plus. There's been a few times where a machine is broken or the beds aren't working but other than that I enjoy coming here.

I like the freedom to be able to exercise in peace, so I go after midnight. The machines and weights are plenty. I wish I could better track the machines I used during a workout. Learning how to use the machines is helpful. Everyone is not sanitizing after use but I have seen workers cleaning.
