Such an awesome gym! Everyone makes you feel welcomed immediately, from the instructors, to the students and parents. My kids walked in there super nervous and now all they look forward to all day is going back!

Fun and friendly atmosphere for your kids. The professor and coaches are great with the younger kids. They have a great way to present Jiu-Jitsu techniques in a way that younger children can connect with. They have a perfect balance of nurturing, support, and sternness.

I maintain my 5 star selection from 9 months ago. The welcoming, family-like atmosphere is like nothing else. Bringing my children consistently and watching them grow and mature with confidence is wonderful. Professor and the coaches are the backbone. You can tell they care about everyone that walks through the door. Whether it's your first day or years expierenced, the professionalism is second to none.

Gracie barra in Avondale Arizona is Awesome ! If you want to learn jiu jitsu this is the place. I recently got started about a month ago and I have had a great experience so far. The professors and coach’s are all very knowledgeable , professional, and genuine. This gym has a great atmosphere, everyone I have met and worked with , coach’s and students are friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been training at Gracie Barra Avondale going on three weeks now! Nothing but great things to say about this gym, from the clean facilities to the awesome professors and coaches!! They really strive to see each individual learn and grow in the sport if jiu jitsu.

GB Avondale has a great family atmosphere that teaches discipline, sportsmanship and excellent self defense skills. There are multiple classes and times for all levels of experience. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in physical fitness, competitive sports and building confidence and a strong foundation for children as well.

My daughters go to this gym and absolutely love it! They have both experienced an increase in confidence and team work. The coaches are amazing! They are caring, friendly, honest, fair and encouraging. We highly recommend this gym.

After training for over a decade in another state, it took me some time to find a new gym. I tried other gyms in the area, but none were a fit for me.I was excited when I found out Gracie Barra Avondale was opening.I gave it a shot and finally found a new home.All of the students and staff are great. There aren't any cliques or gym bullies. Everyone is willing to help each other learn.If you're new to the area or just looking to start something new, I highly recommend this place.
