MUV Fitness Tanasbourne

This is the second time I’ve come in where they weren’t open at the time they’re supposed to be open. Hours say 5 AM, twice I’ve gotten here at 5:30 and everyone is waiting at the door. Extremely inconvenient for people who work in the morning.Otherwise gym is affordable, friendly staff.

Never in my life thought I’d have to write this review but if I could give it a zero star I would! Be careful ppl my car got stolen at their parking lot oh but wait they don’t own the parking lot so they can’t do anything about it. Won’t even let me take a look at the video footage. I still can’t find my car never going back there I was a member for 2 years there and got treated so poorly when this happened. Not feeling safe and still had to get out of the gym because they were closing. Tried getting help but they said no for everything so of course I cancel my membership. Not a safe place when some ppl that aren’t members can just walk in without checking in.

DO NOT JOIN PERSONAL TRAINING UNLESS YOU ARE NOT PLANNING TO STOP!: If there were zero stars, I would have awarded that ! I joined MUV last year and took personal fitness training as well. All went well until I had to freeze my personal training owing to personal reasons coupled with the fact that my personal trainer left the gym! The freeze was applicable for 3 months. I was charged within 2 months of the freeze and it feels like a huge management issue. DO NOT JOIN PERSONAL TRAINING UNLESS YOU ARE NOT PLANNING TO STOP! They play so much with the dates, it will screw with your mind. You are better off elsewhere! No referrals for MUV !

Gym is good, but they often don’t open on time. There have been times I’ve waited over an hour for someone to show up. They only give front desk staff keys so even trainers cannot get to their clients on time. When asked what they would do to rectify, they didn’t have an answer or a plan to move forward. It’s frustrating because the gym culture is great and the people are awesome… 24 hour fitness here I come bc they have a scanner to let you in…

Fantastic gym with CHILDCARE!! no one holds you accountable to go to the gym like a toddler who loves going there! The staff is very kind and plenty of activities for kids. The fitness classes for adults and personal training is also a plus! Clean facility and not over crowded.

I’ve been coming here for 6 months the gym is always clean, the staff is friendly and the all around gym vibe is amazing. It’s a great gym community if you’re looking for one. I got my best friend an account and Tyler helped us out to get her started he was very friendly and he has great customer service. If y’all are looking for a solid clean gym go ask for Tyler and he’ll set you up🤙🏽

I hate to have to give this review, because the trainers (Rebecca, Rick, Dillon, Brandon) are all awesome. This is strictly a management issue. I have shown up not once, but TWICE this week for my 5:45 AM class and the gym has been locked because the opening employee was not there for whatever reason.I understand things happen, but there is no backup plan in place to mitigate this issue. The class instructor was there both times and she could not get a hold of anyone to let us in. I pay good money for these classes and it’s going to waste. Might be better to take your business elsewhere.

Muv has it all! Great staffing, equipment, and an incredible workout atmosphere. Ciara who is a staff member at Muv is always helpful when I have any questions. Five stars for Ciara and the rest of the staff!

I put my membership on hold in Dec 2022 dues to health reasons. I was told that any charges will be put on hold while my membership was on hold. On feb 9th 2023, I cancelled my membership since we were moving. They had charged me an annual fee of $55 on feb 7th, despite the fact that I that my membership was on hold at that time. I was told this is 'policy' and pointed me to fine print in the agreement. The communication could have been much better when i had requested the hold. I understand 'policy' but given the membership was on hold for all of 2023 and then cancelled, I would expect them to use their judgement and do the right thing by their customer.

Really liked this place to chase after my fitness goals. They have awesome training group classes like Boot camp and friendly and super cool trainers Ciara and Shawn. Best Place to workout.
