I used to have a good review up for OGA but I had to update it. It’s all well and good when the kids are 3-4 but any older and you start to notice that the “instructors” don’t know how to work with the kids. They briefly show them how to do the different stations and then let them go. Then they may interact with your kid but more than likely your kid is spending most of the time standing there if they didn’t understand the station. Depending on the instructor they may spend half the time chit chatting with each other instead of teaching your kids. They’ve also reduced the amount of time you have to use make up classes, and reduced the amount of classes so lately the classes have been full and the makes up have been expiring.Despite paying a yearly membership fee you aren’t allowed to use the rest of your makeups if you aren’t currently enrolled in a class. So if you aren’t able to commit to showing up to almost all of your classes be prepared to be ‘out of luck’ when it comes to making the class up.

Good place, customer friendly policy and business, high hiring standards for instructors,Raised tuition and have too many kids in group, 6 little guys per 1 instructor that you can see her struggling to manage all the kids at one moment, not even hoping on individual attention during a classMy kiddo didn’t learn anything significant during a year..

I went here as a child over 10 years ago (i believe). Fast forward and my sister worked here for over a year. This facility is excellent, and if I had children wanting to try gymnastics, I would take them here.

I went to this gym in 2017. I was in the xcel program and was around 11 years old at the time, it was one of my best experiences in my life. I loved my coaches and teammates, if I could I would've stayed longer. The only thing that was a continuous problem was finding parking, but the gym and staff were absolutely fantastic!

So happy masks are still worn at OGA! It makes me feel safe. I feel bad for the people who miss out on such a great experience because of their fear of safety. If I can wear a mask while training 22 hours a week you can wear one while sitting in the bleachers.

Excellent gymnastics program and Coaches. I am grateful that OGA chose to open at the earliest opportunity during this pandemic, even when other gyms were closed for several more months. It shows the level of organization, detail and planning they undertook to ensure our children did not lose their hard earned skills. OGA re-opened with enhanced cleaning, and mandated that all staff and gymnasts wear masks to ensure the gym can remain open without Covid-19 outbreaks. So far everyone has remained healthy!! Kudos to this club for keeping our children safe while ensuring the kids can continue to do what they love. Thank you Nicholas Pudewell & Irina for your dedication and care.

My daughter went here for gymnastics classes from around 3 to 4 years of age. I think it is a great place to introduce your kid to gymnastics. Teachers try to mix up gymnastics learning with fun activities for little kids. The place seems very well equipped for all ages and stages. There is a vast schedule to choose from, for each class. Their make up policy is very generous too. I have attended birthday parties here as well and the kids always had fun. Seemed well organized and the hosts seemed enthusiastic. There were some issues for me though. My child needed a little bit of hand holding since she takes time to warm up. And I don't think teachers are trained to handle younger kids that way. That was not a problem for most parents of course, but it was for me. Second, the viewing gallery for parents is too chaotic. That's the waiting area for parents and also has a small ball pit area. It's also where kids are taking off their jackets, shoes etc and putting them in cubbies. Teachers are taking kids through this area to walk to the other side of the gym. It gets way too crowded and chaotic. They really should streamline that area.

I have been very pleased with oregon gymnastics academy for my two young children on 6 & 3 years of age. My daughter comes here weekly for class and gets lots of personalized attention from the young coaches. She is progressing well and learning many skills. Also love the open gym on weekends for 1.5 hours of upod exercise fir my 3 year old son!
