Friendly atmosphere with lots of bouldering and belay options. Gets busy during the middle of the day with classes. Fun time for all.

Super friendly and helpful staff! We really enjoyed climbing here while visiting from out of town for the month. Only $12 a day, climbing, bouldering, good routes, auto belays, and a few exercise machines upstairs. We'll be back next time we're in town!

Special thanks to Coach Ross for taking time and walking my 7 year old through the process. It was my son’s first time trying out wall climbing and he absolutely loved it here. We were there between 1-3 pm on a weekday during the summer holiday.

Stoneworks has great bouldering, top rope, and auto-belays. I enjoy the unique atmosphere with relatively low prices and a friendly community.

THIS GYM REQUIRES SOCKS FOR RENTAL SHOESThere's nothing wrong with that I just figure I should get the word out so you know if you're visiting.Awesome gym! Lots of bouldering, super fun. They use a grading system specific to the gym (not your typical V or font scale). Good variety of terrain. Staff was great to work with. I'd say this is a more beginner friendly gym (I didn't see anything harder than like V7-8ish). I'm not sure how often they reset routes, but for only visiting the gym once I loved it.

We used Groupon for five visits. It was well worth it! The staff is great and helpful. This place is great for any level of climber.

Not a fan of the variety of bouldering walls available. Routesetting ranges from uninspired to terrible, I barely remember anything I climbed. No formal grading system. No water fountains, empty water cooler.Seating pulled out of old cars, vibe more similar to a mechanic shop than a climbing gym.Mostly dad rock for music.Padding thickness and density is inconsistent, even for the fixed pads, and others you have to drag around yourself, making for spotty protection if climbing alone.Just doesn’t seem to have much of its revenue reinvested in making it a nice place to climb. Super friendly staff, and still a decent workout, however.

This review is solely based on our experience with Jess teaching the Lead Climbing class. One of my main climbing partners was curious about learning to Lead climb. She found a class she was interested in and contacted the gym. Jess got in touch and set up the class. The signup and payment was easy peasy. Jess was able to schedule the class quickly. It was just my friend, myself and Jess. The class was fantastic. I have Lead climbing experience, but wanted to help my friend and can always use a refresher. Jess was patient, very informative, spent as much time as we needed to learn/execute concepts, was very thorough and funny too! Jess covered all the elements of Lead climbing in a gym and gave us a bunch of safety and etiquette things to be thinking about if/when we were to climb outside with more experienced climbers. I learned a lot and my partner passed the test! It was very obvious Jess enjoys teaching this stuff. I highly recommend her class!

A great climbing gym! The staff are incredibly friendly and give great tours of the facility. They have a few auto belays which is nice. But my favorite part was the cave area, tons of great boulders. Would highly recommend

You get what you pay for, it’s the cheapest place to climb in the Portland area. Staff are friendly and will help with Beta. They don’t do a formal grading system, so it was hard to know what you’re climbing. There also wasn’t a ton to climb. No loose chalk and water bottle stay in the changing area. Didn’t love it, but it was good for what we paid for. 🤷🏻‍♀️
