Amped Fitness (Birmingham)

Was in town and wanted to try a new gym, this gym is legit. It’s clean,has a lot of top of the line equipment and even equipment I haven’t seen before. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the area

I love going to the gym here. Everyone and the climate motivate me to work out and I enjoy the service.Should do more things for veterans but they are awesome :)

This is my favorite gym Ive ever gone to. The staff us always friendly (like, in a a look forward to interacting with them when I walk in the door kind of way), the facilities are well-kept, and the free weight and machine selection is ample. If you need an reason to get fit, this gym is it.

If you cancel your membership MAKE sure you get something in writing to show you have cancelled your membership. Membership was cancelled however they don't show it in their system. Went in and of course nothing they can do about it but cancel it going forward. Don't rely on "their system" to email you the cancellation, get them to print it out on the spot.Guess they REALLY need that $50.And if you read the other reviews LOTS of folks unhappy with management and the staff that should tell you something.***********Amp fitness owner they do not show anything in the system to send me. Hence why in my first post I said to make sure you get a print out or something in writing that your membership was cancelled.If you TRULY strive for 5 Star ratings as you say you would refund my money and then I would remove my comment.

Great experience at Amped Fitness Birmingham. Rob, and entire staff was awesome. Clean facility and great equipment. I highly recommend this gym if you live in the area or are just passing through and are looking for a nice gym to keep up with your fitness goals! 👍🏾👍🏾 The only thing I would say needs a little more attention is the mens locker-room, the toilets to be exact. Other than that I had a good experience.

This is the best gym ever, and for only $10 a month! Lots of good free weights and machines. My favorite workers are Brady and Nick, they are so dreamy😍 …

Wonderful gym. Staff has been very friendly. They have a wide array of equipment and plenty of them. Clean bathrooms and friendly environment.

Never been in the doors except to cancel services not rendered. I came in the facility to cancel on Black Friday 2021 along with my daughter, and her best friend. The staff member at that time told us he didn't know how to get us canceled. However he would take our name and numbers and give it to the proper person. I clearly told him (all of us did) that it was very inconvenient for us to come back. We were more than willing to sign any documentation required at that time. He was kind, and seemed honest he simply didn't have the knowledge of where the documents were located in they system for us to sign. He assured us he would handle it for us. Since then All three of us have been charged a monthly fee. After many months, I am still being charged for services that I have not rendered. The front desk manager just told me that they do not have a record of me coming in the gym to cancel. However, my daughters best friend went back to the facility a second time at the end of January and complained that she was still being charged. They finally credited her. Meanwhile, I was told this morning that the staff member working on Black Friday doesn't have any recollection of the three of us coming in... Hmm. The manager frankly does not care one way or the other if he rips people off. He proceeded to inform me of the cancelation policy. I asked him to please email me the form and I would sign it and return it. He said NO. That's not the policy that have implemented. Please check with the BBB before signing up with this facility. They have numerous complaints.
