Train your staff better.I was lied to TWICE when I called inI called in while my membership was suspended, due to COVID, to ask if I needed to suspend my membership again. The person told me no. Lie #1I called in when I saw the charges again, and was told that I needed to go in to cancel, which I was not comfortable doing because of Covid and I live far from the location now.I was told to write a letter to cancel and date and sign it. And to mail it in. I was told the cancellation would be based on the date I sent the letter. Lie #2.All of the planet fitness’s are independently owned. Which allows them to take ZERO accountability and actually help people.Because if these lies and miscommunication, I am out $83 for a membership to a gym I would not step foot in because we are in the middle of a PANDEMIC. The owner does not care.

I was happy with this gym, but their customer service during Covid had been awful. Corporate automatically fraze memberships when the state went into lockdown, but when they reopened, I got charged without notification they were open. I reached out through the website, and someone emailed a form for me to sign to freeze my membership for 90 days. I foolishly assumed I would get some sort of refund or credit for freezing right away, but I was wrong. No refund, and 90 days later, I was charged again for a full month. I tried reaching out again to freeze, but I was told by reps at the gym that I had to come in, they couldn't forge my signature. I told him I didn't need my signature frozen, just email the form again and I would sign and email like last time. That was refused. I was also told to call corporate about a refund. I called corporate and spent an hour on hold to talk to someone only to be told that corporate doesn't do refunds since the gym is a franchise, and the gym has to do the refund. He would email management. I never got a response from management, so I went into the gym today to request the freeze (hopefully over 90 days) and request a refund. I was told again that they don't do refunds, and when I asked why, he said something about not keeping cash. I wound up canceling since they wouldn't work with me. Rather than give me a refund for my month or two of service I never got and save my Black Card membership money I would be spending in the future, he lost all of my future business and any business that I would have referred.

Workers are very polite. I have not been here since the begging of the pandemic, and had to cancel membership because of Covid. I gave 4 starts and not 5 because I was unable to end my membership over the phone, and had to come in to cancel. I hope they can change this because many people are not comfortable going into gyms right now.

Actually I'm a new Black Card member since 1 month. Last Thursday at night the employee of night shift stop me and my friend to take a shower. He said " you can not take a shower now, you can take it after one hour". I said to him i need shower because I'm going to come back my truck. By the way the night shift employee knows me, he always sees me getting shower after my workout. Honestly he was very rude with us. Really he was disrespectful.im going to change that location.

I like this gym and I come here pretty often but I think it’s very inefficient how they seem to only have worker there at a time running the whole gym. There has been numerous occasions where I want to buy a waterbottle or use a tanning bed and I either end up waiting 15-20 minutes or just leaving. It’s ridiculous. There’s no way to get ahold of anyone and i’ve watched other people stand there playing with their thumbs. This issue needs to be addressed in my opinion because I’ve considered switching gyms just to actually get some customer service lol. Everyone there is really nice but like come on. Kinda silly

This club is not at all what I was expecting. For starters, even though the memberships say nothing about it online, you do have to pay a charge day 1 to get your membership going, which is just misleading. Anyways, I had signed up for a membership expecting to be able to go almost everyday, but ended up getting a job that had a gym available to me at no extra cost. Logically I try to cancel my membership, but I couldn't remember my username, so I could not sign in. After calling this club, they told me the only way to cancel a membership is to come in person and sign a form (EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN SIGN THE FORM TO SIGN UP ONLINE!), but I no longer have the time to do this with my new schedule. After trying to talk with them a bit more, the person on the phone hung up on me, so I had to call again (someone else answered) to try to figure out my options, but got nowhere. Also, it turns out that the username recovery feature is either extremely slow or does not work. Even more, I will be charged the annual fee of 39 dollars and next months fee because I have not been able to cancel my membership before the 25th of the prior month which is laid out in small text on the membership agreement. I honestly cannot believe how unprofessionally I was treated, and how predatory the agreement is. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am, and I can guarantee that I will never consider signing up for a membership at any planet fitness ever again.*Edit:I also did not receive the free T-shirt I was promised with my BlackCard membership, and was told "Oh, we don't do that anymore, my boss will fire us if we do." (keep in mind this all happened in about a month). So lying about benefits is also not classy.**Edit 2:After contacting the email in their response, I got an email back saying that essentially said," you signed your membership contract, and in regards to not getting your membership benefits, contact your local gym as they are individually operated" missing the point that the gym itself was not helpful and was the cause of much of my issues, so I will not be changing my stance or review. They also explained to me how to cancel my membership via mail, even though I had mentioned that I successfully cancelled my membership by going in, lol

Spoke to manager Steven had no skills talking to people, and never once tried to help the situation I was going through. I have now tried to cancel my plant fitness subscription 2 times, and every time I tried to explain my situation he only said “your contract you signed”. The customer service advocate I spoke to before was also very rude asking for information, and told me 2 times he straight up told me he gave me the wrong information. Steven did not act like a manager, and never once seemed like he cared.

Steven is a joke and definitely does not qualify to be a manger of a popcorn stand! Very rude and unprofessional, poor choice of words, poor poor customer service, makes every single member uncomfortable at the gym. He even had to call the cops on a member that was supposedly grunting which was not true, everyone was there and no one heard a thing, he pretty much just made a big seen and made everyone uncomfortable. Very sad how one bad employee with such character can slowly ruin a successful establishment. The Owner needs to make better employment choices before this place shuts down. I spoke to a few members of the gym that are trying to Pursue legal action against this location due to its poor management.

My initial thoughts - one star review, but 1 * for the whole club just because of one person seems unfair.That being said mr. Steven the manager clearly lacks people skills and I would say straight up rude. Writing this not to complain but for those who might thinking to join this place. I would consider different location.Update:I literally said that manager is straight-up rude and "owner" reaction/suggestion "We recommend speaking to a club manager".....

Need some better employees. Use to have some nice people here I’ve been using this location for over 2 years now but am considering changing to another gym company. Another thing is the bathrooms.. if they can’t clean the restrooms, do they actually clean and disinfect enough specially with COVID going around?Would be nice to add a punching bag and also upgrade these machines.The owner needs to walk in here and take a look and if he’s satisfied on how this establishment is right now in its condition and makes 0 upgrades..Everyone should quit this location so a new and better gym or owner can take its place.
