Used to be a great gym, now it’s extremely frustrating to go. Absolutely pathetic how bad maintenance is at a gym that hundreds of people go to. 6/8 cables have been broken for months… with 2 of them being since early July. Leg extensions machine, 2/5 stair masters broken. For such a nice gym and a great location, it’s a shame for it to go to waste over something that could have been fixed in a week with maybe $150-$200 worth of equipment. Don’t listen to the 5 star reviews or replies to comments apologizing. Find another gym if possible.

This specific gym and location has potential has friendly staff,But unfortunately it has to many issues one of the major issues there no lighting outside during after hrs of the facility that is a major hazard, especially for elderly residents and Veterans, also there equipments in general are always under maintenance conditions, I've been a member since July and if all the members dont make a complaint about this sad situations it will stay the same.

Only two cables have been working for over 5 months now... Have been looking around to join another gym because of this. It is INSANE that a gym takes THIS long to fix a primary machine. It's going to get to the point where NO cables are working.. how is this acceptable?

*** DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP AT THIS LOCATION ***1. several machines are broken and have been broken for 4-6 MONTHS (cables, exercise bikes) This becomes an issue during peak hours when you have 7/8 cable machines [including the one by the boxing bag] and 4-5 of those are broken. [However, they do still ROB you for a "gym enhancement fee".]2. Location has a hard time regulating temp in the weight area. I understand it's a gym but I don't pay to be hot and humid.3. Sort of goes with #1 but, getting any equipment fixed in a timely manner does not happen. Some of the machines don't have pins for the weight stacks, some members bring pins with them that should not be a thing. I spoke to a member who said his friend paid for the chains so that the boxing bad could be utilized.4. I've seen several members using VAPEs in the gym, I don't come into a gym to deal with vape smoke. I've seen people vape in front of employees and nothing be done about it.Overall it seems like very poor upper management as the local management has very little power over what's done. The goal here is simple get as many members as they can without actually caring about the members.-Dr James Cook Sr.

I’ve been a TruFit member for about 4 years and have never been so frustrated at paying my membership there. There are only 2 functional sections in the cable gym. The hip abd/add machine in the women’s area has been broken for over a year now, so now only the machines in the general area can be used. There is only one set of 10 lb dumbbells in the general area and only one set in women’s area. The LEAKS EVERYWHERE and puddles of water when it rains. For what each member pays in yearly fees, these problems should not exist. I will be cancelling my membership.

I have been a member of this location for roughly 3 years. I have seen entire staff hired and replaced at least 3 times. The same problems have been around since the day I signed up, I was promised that these issues would soon be fixed although that was 3 years ago and none have been fixed and even more have arisen. I’m not entirely sure why this location has been struggling this badly in all aspects. No machines get fixed whatsoever, the condition of the building itself seems almost on the verge of being unusable to black mold everywhere, and there seems to be only 2-3 employees that ever do anything the rest kind of just wander around aimlessly (or are on their phone hidden in a corner for hours). I’d recommend whoever is part of the management team to relinquish their role to someone who will actually get this gym back into order. Every visit is filled with the frustration of everything mentioned. When asked about the status of the countless broken machines, the same response of uncertainty is always given. I highly urge anyone even thinking about touring this place to just pay the extra money or commute the extra distance and go somewhere that actually cares about their customers, not to mention the copy and paste replies to all of these negative reviews really shows the apathetic viewpoint of management that needs to be addressed. It’s sad to see this gym slowly get worse and worse every day and yet fees and prices rise which baffles me. Hopefully something will be fixed and I’d be glad to change my rating as I like the location of this gym but I doubt that anything will ever be addressed sadly :/

Come here for the convenience of the location… but the equipment is always broken. Been broken for months. There are 4 cable machines currently broken. 🥴If you you don’t mind broken equipment, then come join me. 😂

Terrible customer service. I’ve been a customer for many years. I’ve never asked for a free pass before, not even for weekends. I’ve referred countless people and even helped signed up memberships for them. Julian is well aware of this but unfortunately he is not there anymore. I asked for my 2 wk pass for my husband as I received a msg about it, when I went to the counter the guy said it had already expired even though there was no expiration date on the msg I received. I asked for 1 day pass at the least but he didn’t bother to work with me. We didn’t have our wallet, otherwise we would have just gotten his membership. Very disappointed. No longer referring people here that’s for sure.

Lets start with the positive first. The gym is well equipped, the staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is fairly clean considering the amount of daily traffic it receives. Staff and personal trainers are helpful and friendly. The gym manager is personable and attentive to his members. Now, on to the bad. Out of 8 cable pressdown machines in the entire gym only 2 are operational. Furthermore, 2 of these machines have been broken for over 5 months. Local management has been very apologetic about the situation. It was explained to me that corporate hasn't approved these issues. I'm not sure where the choke point exist on a situation like this but it looks like it would require approximately $75 to $150 dollars worth of hardware and, at most, 2 hours of labor. This is just a sad situation. Overall the gym's equipment, which is relatively new, looks like it was recovered from a gym in downtown Baghdad and has been taking heavy mortar fire. Equipment maintenance is nonexistent.
