Anytime Fitness

Very nice gym, very new devices and nice staff

I started going to this gym end of Feb 2020 and signed up for a trainer to help keep me motivated. My trainer Lee, is an excellent source of enthusiasm and knowledge, he always mixes up the workouts and is a great communicator and an even better human being. I am very happy with my decision to attend this gym and blessed to have Lee as my go to for motivation of physical fitness and diet.

Anyone that posts that this gym is creating bait and switch is out of line. There is no such thing her, as I've been a member for 4 years and the one jerk stating what was mentioned as a bait and switch is a fool. The only thing extra is a yearly maintenance fee of sometimes $15.00. This is done at the end of year usually, so to the individual making false statements, maybe try working out instead of being a drama queen.

I had been working VERY hard so I thought, until Jesse helped me with a different workout , He coached me through every step, motivated me to the finish! I was about to give up. Before him, my results were low, then he introduced me to an incredible workout and inspired me to push myself, but to not give up and cares about my goals and wants to see me achieve them....He truley has passion for helping others. If you have not tried him as your personal coach......please do.....you will be happy you did!!!!!

This location is very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. All the equipment is well maintained with a lot of choices. Nice floor plan layout.

Good gym, equipment is well maintained and nice and clean, trainers are helpful and friendly, wish the same could be said for the manageress, she can't even be bothered to greet guests, really bad attitude ,very unhelpful and should perhaps not be working there, gives the place a bad vibe!

Bait and Switch Business PracticesI was recently enticed into visiting the Anytime Fitness facility at Surfside Shops in Cape Coral due to an advertising sign. I entered the gym and was provided with a data sheet which indicated the benefits of membership, the staffed hours of the facility, and the costs of the membership options. That was the bait.I returned to the gym several days later after considering the costs and my budget. I decided to join and began the enrollment process. I provided my personal information and paid the one time key cost to the manager. The manager then informed me that in addition to the costs I agreed to, and the costs on the data sheet, there would be and additional cost paid twice annually. That was the switch.I immediately told the manager to cancel my membership and refund my money. I am not interested in doing business with any company with deceptive business practices and the "Bait and Switch" form of fraud is one of the more common types in the retail industry. I would recommend avoiding the Anytime Fitness Center at the Surfside Shops in Cape Coral until they fully specify the complete cost of membership in their advertising documentation.
