Located behind Cape Coral Hospital, it provides convenient parking and easy access. Members highlight the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the clean, organized facilities. WellWay also offers specialized physical therapy services which many reviewers recommend.
However, recent management changes have led to dissatisfaction among long-time members. Complaints include poor maintenance, higher costs, and unfriendly staff. I really enjoy working out here and the staff are all very friendly. My daughter loves the kid zone and being able to play with other kids while I work out

I used to love the wellness center but I've been let down by them again and again. If you tell them someone is loudly talking on the phone while working out, you're seen as the problem. So while it used to be a nice peaceful place to work out, now it feels the same as any Planet Fitness. Also, the old men don't wipe down the machines or if they do its with a gross sweaty towel. Again, if you tell someone about it they basically act like you're causing them trouble. (They even have one old man's photo up on a poster in the hall who is notorious foe not wiping down machines).Apparently being conscientious of your noise level and leaving a sweat trail is seen as a "suggestion" rather than a rule.Add to that that neither of my kids enjoyed the swim lessons or finished them bc the instructor is inept and no one ever followed up to ask questions. He would basically make fun of them if they showed fear and held grudges against children and would change his demeanor based on if they were receptive to his teaching. The only good thing is the childcare women. They are awesome and we will miss them. Bit even the childcare hours were terrible. You can't come between 12 and 4 if you need the childcare, none Fri and Sat after noon, and none at all on Sundays.Oh and let's not forget the open Saturdays they were having constantly so even though you were a paying member, you had to deal with a flood of random people every month so Saturdays became off-limits too bc it was so busy.Just not worth it anymore. It was $59/mo + $20/mo for kids for daycare, no prorating. I was a member on and off since 2019 and I'll miss what it used to be. But for that much I'll just pay a monthly payment for my own equipment

Great gym with everything you need including pool. My personal best feature is that the clients are very much a reflection of our society. Most are still working on getting in the best shape they can be.

Disappointed. Paid for 4 swimming lessons for a 3 yr old. She got a double ear infection after the first lesson, dr. said 2 weeks no swimming. I requested to move the remaining 3 lessons to the next months class was told no. "the class is still being given, we have to pay our instructors".

Always fun and a great workout. Kid Zone allows me to be able to workout, and without it, it wouldn't work! The ladies are sweet that work in there with the kids. My only wish is that it was even just $10 less expensive per month, because it is quite pricey for my husband and myself to both go. Lots of options and machines though. Safe, clean environment that I can truly appreciate.

I'm giving the gym a 4 star, it would've been a 5 star, however, the hours don't work for me and I'm sure others. I work the night shift and on my days off, which are mostly Saturdays, some Sundays, not off much during the week, the gym is only open until 2p on weekends, really odd for most gyms to not be open untilat least 9p or 10p on weekends. I'm not trying to get up any earlier then 9a on days off to drive all way over to the Cape, I live in south Ft. Myers. Two days a week in the gym is all I was shooting for and that won't even work because you're not open later on weekends. So I canceled my membership as of today. Very disappointed. Only being open until 2p is not very user friendly. Some of us are not early risers, esp night shifters and on days off. The gym itself is a great place and great classes, atmosphere is nice.If there was a gym closer to me, south Ft. Myers, then I might join again, however, I don't see that happening any time soon. Sorry to say you have a lost membership due to your weekend hours and not a good location for me being in Ft. Myers. And Babcock Ranch facility is a ways away from now, not going there. I only used my membership once and that was to come in for the body scan thing, which I didn't get much from, kinda was a waist of a trip for me. I hope management takes a look at longer evening hours on weekends and hopefully a new gym will be more friendly user for people in Ft. Myers. Was just a disappointment all in all with the hours and location. Great atmosphere though at the cape.
