I just did an tour Nick was very friendly and showed me around. He told me about the special zero down and I had to join. Very nice equipment and clean luxury environment.

Nick was awesome at following up with me to answer any questions that I had about the gym. I initially looked at other gyms in the area but Lifetime had more of that large gym feel that I enjoy, I know some people like smaller and quieter gyms though. The gym was very clean, locker rooms were clean and also was all of the equipment.

Even in a pandemic, the club will not relax the notice period and will forcibly charge me for the whole month even after I stated that I do not feel safe returning back to the gym now that the club is reopening. I do not want to opt for the freeze option and would like the flexibility to reevaluate my decision of coming back to a gym at free will and not because I tied my funds with one gym. I am totally fine letting go of the March credit that was collected after the lockdown started. All I asked them was with the club reopening, I still do not feel safe returning to the gym and would like to evaluate my decision to return to ANY gym once the conditions are risk free and completely safe for me and my family. Extremely disappointed with their lack of flexibility under the current conditions we are living in.

Honestly did not check these reviews before joining the club. However due to proximity we joined to only see all that was reviewed with less than 3 stars are honest and real reviews in just one year. I really don't have to say anything here. Recently, our whole family got sick due to visiting the club. Only thing I did on one Sunday was to goto gym, from next day, Monday - Friday I was sick. Seriously health inspectors need to visit this and close this facility for good. As per the customer service, some rude trainers and staff..I have seen my share of it around here. And all this happened in couple months. For some reason this club is pale, lacks ambience and like a warehouse. Also there guest policy not to bring your kids..is a joke. What will I do with my guest passes..a total waste and gimmick...If you happen to join this club ..good luck , and advanced thanks as you will like my post sooner or later. LOLadios

Hello Kelly Matthews,All I wanted to do was just workout today and your fitness center.I arrived on site at the Life Fitness location in Apex at approximately 915am. Upon arrival I inquired with the front desk lady about signing up for a day guest pass. She then proceeded to tell me I would have to sign up, register for a day pass, and wait for an email response and then further respond to some questions before being eligible to receive a guest pass. I then proceeded to follow her instructions. The backforth emails took over 20 minutes. I asked to speak to someone in person or if I could do the process physically in person. After waiting 20 minutes I decided that maybe your gym doesn't value my membership and I am not welcomed. It's sad to say but I have travelled the country and other countries for the past 12 years often. In that time I have visited many gyms such as Golds gym, LA Fitness, Anytime fitness, Crunch, Ballys, 24 hour fitness, planet fitness, and many others. During those visits I have never been told that I cant obtain a day pass in person on the site. Usually these businesses are excited to meet and greet and extend open arms. As such would be good business practice and professionalism.I am new to the Apex area and was just looking for some where to workout. I was interested in purchasing a membership for my wife, kids, and myself. But todays encounter spoke volumes. I don't fault the front desk lady because it is her management team that has poor leadership on how to handle new potential members.I get the vibe if you dont look a certain way you will be treated differently

Very costly unlike planet fitness and the YMCA. Not worth paying 50 bucks a months for a crowded dirty gym. Go to Planet Fitness instead in Cary. Been a member of this gym from June 2009 through June 2012 (3 years). It was okay at the time but gym is always very crowded.

The people when you come through the door are very nice and always diligent about greeting you and the staff is nice. However, I don’t feel it’s a platinum level club to be charging platinum prices. Should probably be a bronze elite charging about 30 bucks less a month. I come from a bronze level in Arizona and these places are identical. This pool always seems booked out and reserved. Also I use the steam room often and it’s always dirty. I’m not sure it’s cleaned every day.Happy to adjust the rating if issues taken care of.

Decent gym. Overall it isn't crowded compared to the Cary location, but has basically everything you need. It is always very stuffy and warm in there, and the water is the water fountains is WARM, thats my biggest complaint... I have to bring 2-3 water bottles because I don't want to have to drink the warm water when I refill my water bottle. I also wish the elliptical had the AC built in like the Cary location. Plus, after they did the renovations, I seem to have a hard time to try to find lower dumbbells (5-8lbs) on the floor.
