They only have 5 smith machines. 2 of which are broken and likely won’t be fixed any time soon.Row machine is broken and out of order for at least a month and counting.Cables are all in rough shape and need to be replaced.I’ll update this when management decides it’s time to value their members and keep the gym in working order. What a low bar. Come here if you like waiting 20 minutes for equipment or you like to do cardio. I’d you like things in working order don’t bother.

This is a good gym. I’ve been going to this location since it opened up. I’m only giving four stars instead of five because they’ve sent me home at least 8 times over my shirt being “too cut off”, stating that their dress code doesn’t allow shirts to show your ribs/nipples. but they let their employees wear shirts with the entire back cut out when they work out off shift, and they let all the girls wear sports bras and spandex…Edit: don’t drop a comment about your dress code “varying location to location”, when your own employees don’t even adhere to it in the first place. Meanwhile i get harassed over a shirt I’ve worn to the same club for years.It’s not about having a dress code, it’s about not letting your employees be above the rules.

Manager was rude and had me scan my card for a second time in order to use the massage area. That was very disrespectful. She thought I was just out there lying, like I cant afford a black card membership. Other members never disrespect me in such a way when I go to that gym, but that manager. This was rude! I have been with planet fitness fo years and I never had to use scan my card a multitude of times in order to use the massage area. It should also be noted that I am a black card member, by the way!

I really like the Cary location! I checked out the Raleigh Planet Fitness location and I didn't really like the vibe. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I felt a lot more comfortable in the Cary location and I had a great time at the PF 360 Burn class today!I'm definitely really sore, but I'm happy to be able to have fun staying fit and getting stronger! I'm going to the Core Workout class tomorrow and I've already signed up for a class on Friday and more classes next week between my work schedule.

Great experience with friendly staff who greet me by name, cleanliness, air circulation and availability of a wide variety of exercise options. Affordable and welcoming environment for 55+ age group. Love the hydromassage and tanning bed.

Solid gym, nice staff.Has a million ellipticals and tread mills but only 5 upright bikes, which is strange.Not PF's fault but people need to clean up after themselves and rack their weights.

Decent facility, the staff is very nice. My complaints about this gym.. once some machines break they never seem to get repaired. They are down to only 1 stair climber out of two.. So it is never available to use. They also do not do enough machine maintenance. A lot of the machines will shake/shutter very hard when you try to use them because they are not greased.

The gym is great but so are the workers but I was misinformed about the fees, someone should sue you guys for your advertisements. I thought it’s 10 dollars per month - but apparently the cheapest plan they have is 15 dollars not to mention a 45 dollars fee to join and an annual fees of 39. That’s not the issue though - the issue is that for the last 3 month I have paid over 90 dollars barely went to the gym thought it was $15 a month- best explanation I received was it’s late fees. Doesn’t make sense how late fee is the same price as the monthly fee. No refunds plans. All in all I’d rather look for another gym, planet fitness is not straight forward with its Billings. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Five stars, including my recent experience to cancel my membership. This is definitely one of the better Planet Fitnesses I've been to, granted can be busy at times depending on when you go and what you are planning to use while there.Cancellation was a breeze and I was mentally preparing myself to have to go through hoops to get it done, but I think a lot of the reviews chatting about it are pretty off base. Special shoutouts to the employee that helped me with that!

I love Planet Fitness! The small copay each month is so incredible. I work out early in the morning and I can always find the equipment I want to use. I so use the shower and locker room and find they are always clean, and I am comfortable using the facilities. The people are friendly. Overall a great place.
