The new facility on Market St. is beautiful and a big improvement. The showers have plenty of hot water, are easily regulated, and do not freeze or scald you, but still not as great as Urbana which has much more pressure. Everything is new including all the treadmills (NOT an improvement in my opinion). The interior lighting is much brighter and not depressing. There seems to be fewer cleaning stations and as a result, many members simply skip wiping down the equipment (yuck!). Despite being open for a month there is still no WiFi internet access. I will sorely miss the giant windows at the former building—I was able to gaze out of them while using the cardio machines. The parking spaces need to be re-painted.

When I lived there this was the closest PF to me so this was my "home" gym. Staff was great the place was generally clean. I moved from Champaign,IL to Houston,TX back in August 2022 and asked them to close my account. Here we are 9 months later and they are STILL charging me for 2 memberships and I keep calling but no one ever answers the phone. Someone needs to fix this because I'm tired of paying for a membership that I cannot use.

I like the new location. It feels more spacious. When I’m using the free weights, it feels like it’s more room to walk around; I like that. I also like the new cycling bikes. I don’t think these were at the last location.Only thing I could really ask for is I would like to see Planet Fitness add like one or two full court basketball gyms. That would be 🔥. Other than that, I recommend this gym. I think it’s upgrade from the previous location.

My gym membership includes free wifi, but there isn't any wifi available. I hope the free wifi is available soon. This is the only reason why I give it four stars. Other than that, this gym is clean and new.
