Chuze Fitness

This location is cleaned often and the equipment is maintained well. For the best experience and to get in and out, i go to the gym during the day between 10am-2pm on any day. I can get on the equipment that I need when I want it. The front desk team are very nice, genuine, and greet you almost every time. This is my favorite location.

Great location and they do have outdoor area to exercise, and the sauna as well.

I love this place! It is always clean. Chuze provides little wipes so that you can clean and wipe machines down after every use, and sometimes before you use a machine. I have seen people leave a machine without wiping it down. This in no way reflects the cleanliness standard chuze has set in place, without fail, every time I visit, I see employees giving the machines a thorough clean.The only reason I gave this gym 4 stars, is because while I'm in the cinema room, on many occasions, they have not restarted the movie in a timely manner. I have waited and stared at a blue screen or DVD menu screen for 10, 15 and even 20 minutes before someone came in to restart the movie.Also, in the cinema room, the projector or DVD player constantly gets stuck. Sometimes the movie resumed within less than a minute and other times it took a little longer.Overall I really enjoy this gym ! The staff is really friendly and they don't get mad when I call to let them know that the movie is stuck or its been on the menu screen for a bit... at least I don't think they get mad or annoyed...lol!

Love this chuze. It's large and spacious. Plenty of hydro massages chairs & tables. The only Chuze in SD with a steamroom. Which is also why it lost stars. For sanitary reasons the steamroom must be kept at consistent hot temp. Often the little steamroom is empty of steam and has an odor. Slip mats have missing since reopening aswell.Infrared saunas are barely hot & pointless "imo", the classic dry rock heat wooden saunas are the way to go.3 star gym is not far from being 5 stars! Turn up the steam thermostat. Keep it hot, sanitary and safe to use.

This gym is HORRIBLE! with COVID I understand the restrictions and not many gyms are open, but didn’t expect it to be this bad, Chuze is always always crowded, Chuze machines aren’t the best and Chuze employees are very rude. Do not recommend coming here, save your money!

The only gym open in Chula Vista and other areas. Very nice and Clean. Machines are outdoors and is open every day. The hydro massage is available too and staff is friendly. Good parking.

I went in and told the guy at the entrance I need to use the bathroom first and then ill come back to sign in. While I was using the bathroom my anxiety attack kicked in and luckily my friend heard me and went under the stall to get to me and helped. An employee of theirs came in and instead of helping me he said he's calling the authorities my friend told him I'm having an anxiety attack/panic and instead of the employee helping he told me to take my anxiety attack outside instead of helping me. This is the worst experience any customer could have. Also when I was leaving because I wasn't going to have any of that inhuman disrespect, I thought on coming back and making a complaint. The manger kept interrupting me mid sentence when I tried explaining the situation. This is the worst experience I've ever had as a customer at any establishment. Also the main reason I came in today was to renew my membership now I dont even want to come back no more thanks guys.

It’s a nice place, but the people that workout here are not courteous of one another. People dumbbells everywhere. A good percentage of people stay on the same machine/ workout bench for long periods of time, with a good portion of them just sitting there. Oblivious to the fact that others want to use the equipment.
