This is the gym to go to if you want to get stronger. I'm not talking about glamour muscles, but real strength that makes your life better and makes you feel better. The training is SMART. Sara and the other trainers really know what they're doing. You can tell the method behind their schedule. On top of that, I really love all of the trainers and the rest of the community.

D1 is the first gym I’ve been a member of where I feel valued. I don’t feel judged for not knowing things or for struggling - just encouraged. The coaches are all fantastic and super knowledgeable - especially when it comes to modifications if you’re injured. Safety and injury prevention are always discussed. And the music is usually really good.

I have been at D1Colorado Springs for almost 10 years! I was tired of the same routines and wanting something different. I had a personal trainer who moved to D1 Colorado Springs and told me to come and try a bootcamp. I fell in love with the place and bootcamp! D1 has expanded quite a bit over the years, they have group bootcamps and strength classes now. Since strength classes were added I now work towards strong bones and staying active in my older years. With the years that I have spent there, I can proudly say that I have deadlifted 200lbs! By the way, we have the best Coaches around!

Coach Kitten is amazing. She thoughtfully creates engaging, ever changing off-skates workouts for Pikes Peak Roller Derby tailored specifically for our sport. We get super sweaty and have a great time every time!

D1 is an amazing facility with hard working and knowledgeable trainers. My boys have been privately training with Mitch going on two months now and the difference in not only their physical capabilities but their attitudes, attention and drive is a 360! Mitch is super positive and tough when he needs to be, he’s a wonderful role model for my boys and an amazing athlete. D1 is super kid friendly and there are trainers for everything. Absolutely an amazing investment.

First impressions: walking in the place definitely has that gym vibe, everything looks clean and not super crowded. Staff were friendly, took the time to focus on the customer, and all in all a good experience there.Training: I'm not sure about doing your own thing but the classes were intense and to the point. As of writing this post there were several free trial sessions (a huge plus for me so I can make sure it's a solid fit). They have enough space that you can social distance while working out.Cost: not gonna lie, it's not cheap. At nearly the monthly cost of other gyms per week that is almost a deal breaker for me. It does come with quite a bit more interaction with trained and professional staff so it's probably worth the cost but I'm an EMT making practically minimum wage so I'll be looking in to their punch card program to see if it's something I can manage.Overall no complaints about the staff, facility, or training style. I plan on trying out a few more sessions to see what it's all about.

One of the best decisions I’ve made is to train at D1. D1 has the best energy, an awesome staff and inspiring community. I’m amazed by the results I’ve seen and strength I’ve gained from being challenged and encouraged by the incredible coaches here. I look forward to walking through the doors each day. It’s a hard workout with happy people.
