Jen spends time with each member of her class making sure their breathing, form and execution of the specific exercise is correct. She does a great job of gradually increasing the intensity of the activity without pushing you too far.

I'm going into my 4th week of Crossfit, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm a 47 year old runner and decided to join Bird Crossfit after talking with Jenny. I was just a little hesitant, but her attention to form and technique won me over. Coaches Joe and Rachel have continued to help with my technique. Whether it's kettlebell swings, presses, snatches, wall walks, or anything else, the attention to technique has been worth every penny.Just a little update... I ran Mollys Miles 5k this weekend and set a PR of 22:48 which betmat last years time by nearly 3 minutes. I attribute my improvement to more consistent running AND the base of strength and fitness that I've been gaining at BIRD. I fully expect to run a sub 22 min 5k by this fall.

Jenny Bird is the first trainer who introduced me to CrossFit and brought a new perspective to me when it comes to “getting in shape.” She has guided me through injuries, through losing weight and also has just been an inspiration to me!! She has a wealth of knowledge, drive, and passion - that few Coaches/trainers Can compare to.I dropped into today for a 12pm session at Bird and had a fun, good workout!! It’s an awesome space with a cool vibe but more importantly - the people make this gym incredible!

I love the environment of this gym! I’m all about finding a space to move that has good vibes and allows me to feel comfortable. This space provides that and the coaches and owner are wonderful to work with! Workouts a tough but also customizable.
