I love the Charlotte family yoga center! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and I’ve never left the studio feeling anything less than (unbelievably) sweaty and amazing! My favorite class is hot power sculpt with Lynn & I always leave feeling so empowered and accomplished about myself, but I’ve gone to many of the other classes that are offered as well and all of the other teachers and their classes are really awesome too.The studio is clean and bright. I’ve never had any communication issues and it’s super simple to book a class online ahead of time. If you’re a yogi looking to try out a new space for your practice, I definitely recommend giving CFYC a chance!

CFY, is all about fun, strength, self discovery, playfulness, and friendliness. I find this studio to be inclusive and accepting. I appreciate the continued virtual option.

This yoga center is more than a place to practice yoga. It is a community. I truly have never experienced a place like it. They care about each person- their yoga form and personhood. There are lots of options to enjoy. The best in town!

So hurt and disappointed by Charlotte Family Yoga. As a single mom, I really loved and appreciated the Girls Tribe Jr. they put together for younger girls. My daughter was able to complete most sessions this summer before we were committed to other things. I was sent an email they would be sending out a photo but never received it. I emailed and did receive a photo and sweet letter, also indicating a new round of girls tribe.I emailed them on November 1st to confirm receipt of the photo and express interest in 3 of the 4 remaining sessions of the group. On the 2nd, Kara confirmed she could attend and looked forward to seeing her. Flash forward to the 10th, the night of the group, I email to inquire if there is a payment link I can use to donate for class. Vicie emails me back to let me know class is full.My daughter was already dressed, we had planned to leave in 20 minutes, and it was on our calendar for the next 3 weeks. Could not be more disappointed or upset with this situation. I asked for a call, did not receive one. I tried calling Vicie’s cell and the call would not go through. I cannot imagine if we showed up and were turned away in embarrassment. We will not be back and will not recommend to anyone.

I really can't say enough how much I love this place. The atmosphere is very calming and positive. The owners are Amazing and their teachers just as amazing. I wish I could take all the classes but let's face it, yoga isn't are "easy" as you would think. One of my favorite classes is the Heated deep stretch - we all need a little heat in our lives for that deep stretch! Vicie, Robin and Kiesha are equally amazing when it comes to this class. I also love the power class if you are up for a challenge/work out with Lynn. The slow and deep classes are equally beneficial and taught by Kara.I prefer in person courses but have taken them online via zoom. There a many other teachers I haven't mentioned but you truly can not go wrong with anyone here. They genuinely care about you and your experience. They will even modify their routine they teach if you need a little extra care on certain areas. More than anything they give the positive encouragement you need to succeed or to just have a better day. I am lucky to be a part of this "tribe."EDIT: I forgot the mention the kids play and kids yoga! Yoga is for all ages and I do my best to teach my little one the values of staying active. This is NOT something "just for girls," the benefits we each reap from yoga are endless. It's great for all sports to help prevent injuries and become a better team player.

I’ve been attending yoga classes at Charlotte Family Yoga for 10 years- through many life transitions and during my 3 pregnancies. I love the variety of classes they offer- they can definitely meet any yogi right where they are with their practice! I’ve taken classes at other studios from time to time, but Charlotte Family keeps drawing me back! I love that I am still being challenged and learning new things in my yoga practice after 10 years at the same studio!

Charlotte Family Yoga has provided amazing service to their community during the pandemic. They offer a full variety of classes online. The instructors online offer the same high-quality support that they do for in-studio classes. Classes offered fit a variety of experience and ability levels. The studio is clean and follows all COVID safety protocols. The studio offers outdoor events, in addition to events for children.
