USK Karate Academy - Coral Springs East

This is a fantastic school with amazing instructors. My son began learning karate in North Carolina a couple of years ago and we moved to south Florida almost a year ago. A big concern for us was finding a karate school that is reputable. USK Karate is the complete package! The instructors are always 100% involved in every class and you can tell that every instructor is enjoying what they're doing. Our son loves the school and we hope he continues well into adulthood.

Our daughter began at the academy this year and absolutely LOVES everything about the school. As parents, we couldn't be happier and prouder of her accomplishments and the outstanding changes in her behavior. We would highly recommend the academy to anyone looking for a martial arts school.

The school is one of if not the best school for children. My kids have benefited greatly and have increased their self control and maturity. The instructors are awesome. I wanted to share with you that we could not have found a better instructor or program for our Montessori School. USK Karate Academy has a great program; Mr Hans, comes to our School once a week to teach self defense and martial arts. The children love him, and they wait so anxiously for every class. He always brings his equipment to make the class more fun and attractive for the children. Mr. Hans is very engaged with the children; instilling a positive learning environment coupled with discipline and overall fun for kids, the children are also active in learning different routines and strive for improvement because they enjoy the whole program. My son has been at USK since the age of three and it is absolutely astounding to see his growth on a month to month basis. The instructors at USK are dedicated, hard working, and genuinely caring facilitators and my son always leaves his classes, USK events, and tournaments with a smile on his face and an air of confidence that USK has helped him acquire in the last few years.

We have three boys in USK Karate Academy( 6,8,and 9 ). We have been here for years. My oldest started when he was four. Fantastic program for all of them. It's fun yet has important lessons of life intertwined throughout the course. USK has helped our family create an atmosphere of discipline, respect, and honor. Our boys have uncommon focus, motivation and determination that can be largely attributed to the caring, loving and family oriented environment that they take so much pride in being a member. Making the initial decision is the hardest part. All I can recommend is that if you are considering a martial arts school (or any other extracurricular activity), do yourself a favor, come in, meet the staff (they are absolutely fantastic), talk to some of the parents, stay for a class or two, and I bet you'll be hooked! We are very proud to be a part of the USK family!

USK Karate has helped my son gain a tremendous amount of confidence during his first year of attending. The instructors are top notch and they truly care about their students while making everyone feel like family. I continue to watch my 10 year old son develop into a well mannered, curtious, and confident young man and the instructors at USK Karate have played a large role in his development. USK Karate Academy is the most positive martial arts experience I have ever seen for families, children, and adults. As a teacher, I appreciate all the methodology for instruction at multiple age levels. Positive reinforcement is blended seamlessly with constructive criticism to strengthen character and hone physical skills. Their involvement extends well beyond the studio walls. USK is involved in community service projects, and hosts multiple events each month for the students and their families. When searching for a martial arts experience, give USK Karate Academy a careful look before you choose to go anywhere else!

My family started training at USK Karate Academy in August 2012. My wife had been referred there by friends who have an autistic child just as we do, and they told us how great the instructors are and what improvements their son is making. We enrolled our two children and what a difference it has made in both of them. Our son has developed more coordination and confidence. We've noticed better focus and discipline in both of our kids' lives. The message and the philosophy in the training reinforces making good moral decisions and respect for others. This wasn't just like joining any karate school, we had enrolled my son in a different school a couple years prior, but this was joining a family. The instructors and owners have really taken the time to get to know my family and make us feel welcome. We know that they have the best interest at heart with our children. From my experience it is very rare to find such a dedicated and oustanding staff. They inspired me to start training, and it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I feel better physically, and it has helped me step out of my comfort zone and grow as a person. Plus, the bond I get to share with my kids as we train, well there is no replacement for that. Amazing place. My son has been attending their special needs class for a year now and the teachers are really great and caring. They make you feel like you are part of the family and have great values. I highly recommend them. As of this last month our entire family is now part of the USK family, both my husband and I really enjoy the adult classes and my 4 year old loves the Mighty Tiger class. :)
