USK Karate truly changed my life. My son has been a part of this wonderful "family" since he was 5 years old. I myself, a little over 4 years. I wish I would have started training a lot earlier in life but what it has taught me as an adult is priceless. Life is full of many challenges, obstacles and bad decisions. This was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. They are part of my family now and I am a part of theirs. This is the most dedicated group of instructors we have had so far in the studio. They are very helpful, patient and most of all professional. Sa Bom Nim is the engine that runs the school but without the other parts of the machine ( the instructors) we don't make it to the track. If you are looking for a lesson in life, look no further. USK Karate Academy is the perfect vehicle to create for yourself and your children the best possible foundation for a happy productive life. The education offered here is second to none. The instructors are all polite personable professionals that have been and are students of the academy. The first thing you will notice is their winning humble and happy demeanor. All of my children have attended USK. They all gained a sense of discipline and confidence. They learned patience, how to plan for long term goals. Just as important they learned how to take responsibility for not accomplishing something and gracefully and graciously accept their achievements without making other people feel left out or small. It has a great family atmosphere. If you take class with your children you will understand the philosophy and the entire experience much better. You AND your children will be richer because as an adult you will be able to see the big picture and help them in life. The instructors and service is great. These are true professionals. They have a commitment to charity and service and helping people and that is a great example to set for our young people. Don't miss this experience for your kids OR yourself!

I have been a part of USK for more than 15 years. I started with my kids when they were young and then became a student myself. I enjoy the family atmosphere and the instructors are awesome. They are always patient and encouraging.

My Son started at USK with a trial about 1 year ago. I was skeptical that he was going to excel in karate because my son has Autism. He is now 8 years old and a green belt. On his first day there he fought and protested, screaming I hate you and we are not going in. As soon as he crossed the threshold he turned around and hugged my wife and told her "thank you we are home". From that day forward we were home. The staff and owners have treated us like family. They intrinsically knew how to reach my son and I will forever be grateful for that. I recently started training with my son and it is something that as a father of an autistic son I never thought I would be able to do. The entire school treats my son as one of their own and I am not just talking about the staff. The students accept him and are never rude or judging. This place, these people, this community, will help develop the moral character, spirit and leadership in your children and yourself. I am a better person from meeting these people and my son is too. I hope this review convinces you to at least meet this people and give them a try. I promise you it is the best investment you can make in your family.

I began training at USK Karate Academy in 1998, when I was six years old. My training has been an integral part of my life, and USK has taught me much more than simply self defense. My instructors have shaped me morally, emotionally, and physically and I would be lost without my training. The people that I train with are family to me, and they push me to be a better version of myself every day. The teachings I receive are always directly applicable to my every day life, and they help me to always see things in a positive light.
