Equinox Highland Park in Dallas promises premium services but often falls short. With a spacious layout and clean facilities, it offers top-tier amenities like a saltwater pool and eucalyptus towels that many members love. However, frequent reports of outdated equipment, unreliable air conditioning, and poor management tarnish the allure. The high membership cost also doesn't justify the experience for many, leading to frustrations among its clientele.

During this tough time with no water due to the weather ( I'm fortunate power is back on) I called to ask if I can pay to use the facility to take a shower. I'd bring all my own product, I just need water. I am an Executive for a company here in Dallas. The receptionist was very nice and talked to her Manager. The response was "No, because they are a private facility". How's that for helping out the community? Now I understand the bad on line reviews stem from Management creating that culture. Thanks for nothing.

Top notch facility. Professional staff. Equipment always in best working conditions. Big fan of the pandemic cleaning procedures above and beyond any other health club. It’s a classy place. They have a great variety of machines to spice up supersets with. Their classes are amazing. The Equinox+ app is the cherry on top. What else can I say?

Equinox Lite - This gym is very basic, no frills. Not a ton of machines. It is clean, and they do a good job with the upkeep. The locker room feels cramped, tiny lockers, no sauna, no hot tub, no lounge area to cool down. The steam room is tiny and there is a bottle of eucalyptus oil you can spray, smh.Lifetime Fitness, Verandah Club, Cooper Clinic are all superior options.3/5 stars - not horrible, but not worth the membership fees, imo.

Great facility, large and spacious, with dedicated spaces for yoga, cycling, boxing, Pilates, floor classes, and pool. Of course all the equipment you could ask for, and all in a well-lit space with plenty of windows.People of all types share the facility. Old, young, serious lifters, rookies, college athletes, you name it.Locker rooms are well-appointed. Plenty of lockers. Showers are available, but steam is waiting for COVID clearance.Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.Pricey, but a first-rate facility.

So far excellent customer service. Constantly cleaning up areas. Very good vibes. I will continue to post here if things changes.Price: I think it is reasonable for what they provide. I was going to another gym with almost zero amenities and was costing me 140-150 per month.Cons: It is getting very crowded and sometimes you can’t find a locker or parking if short in time. Swimming pools with only two lanes and is shallow. If you are looking for cheaper place May I suggest YMCA facilitates (very underrated) which has a lot of similar amenities with classes, excellent swimming pool, customer service and price is 25% of what you pay here. Different venues have different facilities.

I've been busting my behind, getting into the best shape of my life for my wedding. Equinox has not disappointed in making sure the equipment is always top notch, and in working condition. The atmosphere is great to work out in. I can do an hour workout, and still keep going because this place is so awesome ;)

I'm currently a member of another top tier gym in the area. My wife and I recently moved, literally stones away from the Equinox entrance. Hence, I decided to tour the facility yesterday (and perhaps get motivated to actually switch one of these days). Allison Mielke, the membership advisor gave me an excellent tour. I realize she is a sales professional but she did a great job presenting features and benefits of why Equinox is one of the premier gyms in the area. Her follow up skills are top notch - She just dialed me earlier, not to put pressure to sign a contract, but say thank you for touring the facility. I did my research and outside of the shallow reviews about staff not meeting expectations, I'd say check yourself in the mirror. In life, you'll typically get what you put in. And If I didn't belong to another top notch gym and treated so well, I would've joined yesterday. Just like anything else, Equinox is not heaven, staff will have bad days sometimes, broker equipments happen, and yes parking issues, but heck this is uptown! But if you're accustomed to first class fitness facility in this area. I'd highly recommend checking it out. Call Allison, you'll be impressed.
