Grit is such a fun and welcoming family of mostly women who are supportive and motivating. No matter your size or your skill level, you’ll fit in. In a transient city where friendships are sometimes hard to find, Grit works hard to celebrate community and I’m proud to be a longtime member!

Grit was something I needed so bad during quarantine. Not just for the physical accountability, but as a mental outlet. Working out at Grit SMU has kept me consistent, given me friends to brunch with, and taught me the importance of showing some self-grace. There is a class and community waiting for everyone here.

Grit is so much more than a gym! Yes the classes, equipment, variety, instructors are great! And I always feel challenged after every class. But the community is what makes Grit stand apart. Don’t know where I’d be without this place!

When I first came to grit in July, I was nervous because fitness studios can be intimidating, but everyone is so nice and welcoming. I love all of the variety of classes and the instructors are so sweet, helpful, and fun. It really feels like home, which I’ve never said that about a gym before. lol

I have been at grit for over 2 years and it has been an amazing experience! I have never been able to wake up at 6 am and workout but I do it at least 2-3 days a week now! The community of women are so inspiring and keep me motivated to keep coming back!
