I love Grit Fitness! All the different classes and instructors give you plenty of variety, and the ability to choose what workouts work best for you!I’ve been a member of Grit for over two years, and I couldn't recommend it more highly!

I absolutely love GRIT. I've been a member in a number of formats - monthly, class packs and now virtual - and I love them all. I'm only currently a virtual member because of COVID but, before that, I went to both the Design District and SMU locations, but I'd consider SMU to be my "home" location. PROS: I love the variety of classes and how they fit into my schedule, particularly after work (this obviously isn't important now that I'm a virtual member). All of the instructors push you to do your best without being too harsh...they are incredibly motivating no matter your fitness level. I have literally never felt judged at GRIT, even when I'm doing all of the wrong moves in Step or Dance Club Cardio :) CONS: can be pricey(if signing up for the monthly pass that allows 8 classes/month, it still costs about $15/class) and has very limited changing/showering areas (both at SMU and Design District). Nearby parking can be a challenge at SMU depending on what else is going on the area, but that is infrequent.

Grit is SO much more than a gym - it’s a community of strong, dedicated women. If you are looking for fitness studio where you can find 1) variety (from spin to strength to stretching classes), 2) unconditional support and encouragement from instructors and other members, and 3) a judgement-free space to challenge yourself and try something new… look no further because it doesn’t get better than Grit!

I was intimidated at first to try out Grit but everyone is so welcoming, the front desk assistants are always so positive and the instructors really know how to pump you up. The environment is so inclusive, I don’t have to feel embarrassed if I can’t do every exercise in front of everyone. Instructors offer modifications as needed and I’ve built up lots of strength and endurance over the past 4 months. I look forward to the music, lights, and other strong ladies in class. Grit is always a great time!

I found Grit Fitness while in quarantine back in 2020 and started attending classes virtually. The quality of the instructors, the variety of fitness classes, the motivating challenges and the energy of the Grit community is absolutely incredible. I'm so grateful for Brittani and her incredible fitness experiences both in-person and virtually.

Been coming to GRIT since 2016! It’s a very empowering gym setting, the instructors don’t let you quit - but rather than just give you encouragement, they will get right next to you and workout with you until you finish your set! And all the women cheer you on when it gets tough. It’s a really empowering environment, if you are looking for a safe space to workout…this is it!

I’m absolutely in love with Grit! I started at grit after a tough break up. Grit has been so much more than just a gym. It’s given me community and everyone pushes me to be my best self. I’ve NEVER been apart of a fitness group/gym/sports team, that is as supportive as this crew. You never feel like an outsider because the grit fam is so inviting. If you’re thinking about trying it out, just do it already!!!

I absolutely love GRIT! I was so excited to find a gym that had such a large variety of classes and that was conveniently located throughout the city. However this gym has exceeded my expectations! First, my workout routine is never boring. There are so many different classes to choose from that can accomdate whatever fitness goals you have. I love dance club cardio, step and body sculpt/stretch! All the classes are high energy, challenging yet sooo much fun. Secondly, the locations and class times make it convenient to any schedule. Thirdly, the community is amazing. The instructors are so encouraging and friendly. You can tell they love being there and want to help you have a good experience too. I've always felt so welcomed no matter which studio I attend. There is no place like Grit and I am so happy I found it!

I have been a member of Grit for 6 years and loved it from the start, it was and still is a place that feels so comfortable and welcoming. I met all my best friends at the studio and through the Facebook page am constantly connected with other women who are supportive and share their knowledge, from hair stylists to restaurants to maternity leave policies. Brit has created such a strong network of women, it brings such an incredible feeling into the studio each class. It is the friendships and sweaty workouts that keep me coming back.
